Does Pakistan need whole Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir region?

Thats possible. Are the muslims of Ladakh also Sino Tibetan people or something else?
Maybe Ladakh can become independent country to secure water from indus river.

I said "mainly" not "all of them". 35% Muslim is a minority.

I am told that they are closely related to the people in G-B. Even with a 50-50 split, India enjoys it's highest support in Ladakh. Even more than the Hindu majority Jammu

It is not about absolute numbers, the thing is that Kishtwar, poonch and Rajauri are 80% muslim dominated. Kishtwar is actually Kashmiri speaking district outside kashmir valley. Poonch and Rajauri are same people as in AJK. These areas make 35 % in total population of Jammu division which is comprised of many ethnically unrelated districts outside kashmir valley.

So whats your opinion?

Should Pakistan only claim kashmir valley?
Or also Muslim parts of Jammu and Ladakh?
Or whole Kashmir region?

Easier said than done - Considering India's already started damming the Western Rivers on its side. Case in point: Kishanganga.

The more dams it builds the more difficult any lasting river-based solution becomes.

KishanGanga is pure terrorism. This will be the down fall of india.

Normally, I like things to be solve through dialogues, but in case of this aggression of india, it will loss it's boom which she found recently.

Clearly need more of occupied Kashmir than what OP's suggested.

The Western Rivers traverse a large portion of Jammu, after originating from Himachal in India and Tibet in China, before entering into Pakistan. Integrating occupied Jammu and Kashmir into Pakistan is less of a political exercise and more of a battle for existence. Although India has, to some extent thus far, observed its part of the Indus Water Treaty, it has intermittently threatened to choke Pakistan of its water supply and, therefore, the issue of Kashmir will remain a perennial flashpoint unless and until the large majority of it is handed over to Pakistan, particularly the valleys trough which the Indus and the Jhelum flow.
Pakistan wanted to control over water not kashmiri. .. neither we gonna give up...

Funny isn't it that in a crazy thread like this, you are the one who got a negative rating.

Exactly. A piece of advice that makes sense and they give me a negative rating for it.

It's pretty hopeless now, this forum, with the kind of members who have been given all these responsibilities. Might as well just outsource it to Hafiz Saeed.

What majority of kashmir want? Do they want to be part of pakistan? or most of them want to be independent from Pakistan/India. I met most here who call themselves Kashmiri instead of Pakistani and are in favour of independent kashmir

Read the arbitral award on the Kishenganga dispute by the Hague. Educate yourself.

Jammu division have 30-35% muslims.

35% hindus are dalits in Jammu, they would also want to be part of Pakistan because dogri people openly discriminate against them. In case dalits want to become part of India then Pak claim over whole Jammu is unjustified.

Some are pro Pakistan and some are for independence. This is what I have observed.
I can understand independence since Pakistani politics are corrupt.
