I have been regular reader of this forum since some time. In due course I am understanding more about this interesting country and its people.
Its been 60 years that Pakistan got independence with thanks to Mr Jinnah and other important members.I would like to give people of Pakistan credit for what they achieved against all those odds. Pakistan is one the few nuclear powers in the world and very important member in world diplomacy.
Still when I see threads about economy I get the impression that Pakistan has potential to achieve more if they remove certain flaws.
Why I think Pakistan has more potential-
1) Out of its 170 million population 80 million lives in Punjab which is known to be one of the most fertile areas in subcontinent.
2) I don't know exactly but some the half of its population is fairly young so its really important to give them good education.
3)As compared to India which is very diverse it would be easier for Pakistani government to concentrate suppose two provinces suppose Punjab and Sindh which have almost 120 million out of 170 million population that means 70% of total population.
4) Its like India having 70% of its population in very fertile region with full of natural resources which is sadly is not the case with it as most parts in India doesn't have the luxury of it, still its doing fairly well.
5) Simultaneously Pakistan can invest in KP and Balochistan for its economical growth.
I might be wrong with some of the above stated points but I think people of Pakistan enjoy those advantages as compared to India. As I am not citizen of your country and don't know about the ground realities in Pakistan so it would be difficult for me to point out some flaws, but to best of my knowledge in order to rectify the current situation I have some suggestions-
1) Most important point is RIGHT TO EQUAL EDUCATION which may be compulsory till age of 14.
2)More and more student must pursued to do take up technical education and science courses.
3) Some laws about distribution of land from landlords like in India there is law that if you work 12 years as worker(like anybody do work in field for % wise food) and you have officially registered as worker to that owner then half of its land given to him.
Although this have loopholes like not registering workers name or changing him, But 30-40 years ago it was somewhat successful.
I am patriotic Indian but found those some points which maybe right maybe wrong. So by keeping religion and kashmir aside FOR SOME MOMENT what do you find about my observation?
For where would you like to see Pakistan standing in next 50 years? If possible give some constructive solution, be optimistic with some strong introspection.
Please avoid wumming (WUM=wind up merchant),Stick to topic .Best of luck for people of Pakistan for its future.
