can you please elaborate the bold part. They won't be fighting on their mainland, their vital assets will remain intact. Thw war won't be a existential threat for them unlike pakistan.

Nuclear submarines are needed to drop ordnance on the American homeland if Pakistan is attacked.

You will find that they have less enthusiasm for conflict if the war is brought home.

Its called Chain of command.... When its blue on blue.... the 2nd blue dont hit back unless get authorization from top command..... many Blue on blue happend in this war.... US on Britian and US on Canada ( i guess) are some examples..... None of them fired back .... because before returning fire on the blue you need top level clearance..... So hard for you to understand...

We did not retaliate because every which step of the way they have stated the attack to be an accident. Had anybody admitted to committing this act on purpose you could rest assured we would have fought back!

Hell, we don't even need to fight ourselves, we can simply arm the Talibaan with Anza & Baktar Shikans and see the end of US forces in Afghanistan in a matter of days.

Your comment is based on the assumption that Pakistan cannot hit US mainland either by ICBM's or Submarines as neither has been proved....however, neither has been proved otherwise either. We may just surprise the **** out of everyone as we did in 1998!

Americans love people who strike them first? When was the last time someone struck the US?? I cannot recall anybody striking the US after Pearl Harbour and that attack left them in tatters. If it had not been for their Nuclear Weapons the US would have lost the war eventually to Imperial Japan. Today you would have been typing msgs in Japanese instead of English. Probably would have been better for the world.

You consider freedom fighters to be terrorists? I can guarantee that the US can declare all Indians as terrorists if it had the need to invade India but you would be considered a freedom fighter and a true patriot if you defended your country. So who the **** cares what anybody says.....besides is it not a well know fact that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter??
