The major difference between the shrine I was talking about and the temple you are talking about is that I have seen the shrine with my own eyes and is a recent story within the past 2 decades and its close proximity with Indian border it is fairly acceptable to believe that it may have been bombarded with mortar weapons and other artillary.

religious personalities? like prophets? i actually have no knowledge in this regards but surely Allah has blessed every nation with Prophets (as) and guidance as per Quran. as for famous religious personalities it differ from region to region, for us Khawaja Moeenuddin Ajmeeri. Hazrat Mujadid Alif sani, Shah Waliullah (r.a) etc are great personalities, for Turks its Rumi while for Arabs Ibne Abdul Wahhab and Ibne Tamiyah.
