good declaration as Indira Gandhi was one of the many imp. persons behind creation of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh was created not by indira but by the muslim of bangladesh in 1947... n in 1971 it was liberated and renamed as Bangladesh from east pakistan... N in the liberation war it is the armies of bengal regiment and freedom fighters who had contributed a lot and they were the main architect of the liberation not indira gandhi... her main intention was to make bangladesh a vessel state of India...

If this BAL hasina government want to honor any one whether it indira or mandira who ever it is ... it must make sure it does not go beyond their contribution...assistance... .... but after this we should all look in to the allegation to what extent she was behind the deterioration of the situation during the pre and during and post liberation war time... n whether RAW took part in any of the rape, killing or looting in the guise of pakistani army... this is a serious allegation and we should investigate it also ...

If I understand you correctly, Indira should have a small road( in proportion to her contribution), but you are not against it. Rest of it can have any other name like mujib or mojob, zia or joaa or whoever those names are.

Personally, if Bangladesh wanted to show its appreciation - a monument in their park named after the Unknown Indian soldier would suffice. There is already a road named as Indira road in dhaka bangladesh very close to the national Parliament building (Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban).. These all initiatives are just publicity stunt.. n please the bharti master ... n to create a false scenario to show other people of bangladesh it is really necessary to appease the bhartis...,

This always happens in war. Look at France. The British believe they saved France. The French believe the resistance saved France. The Americans of course believe that they saved France, Europe and the world. The Soviets lost 25 million men and probably have the loudest shouting rights to winning the war. In their own way - they are all right and in their own way, they are denying credit to their allies. India, Bangladesh are in a similar boat - both want credit but neither could have done it without the other.

Let alone stealing... the allegation that is against bharti soldiers and RAW agent... that they conducted looting, rape and murder in the guise of Pakistani soldier... I personally think should be investigated... as this are quite serious allegation... if true people must know all these hidden truth or story...

Yes.. we should investigate that and name all the roads after Pakistani leaders. That will make the Pakistani flag waving Bangladeshis happy.
