The upcoming launch of a Delta IV Heavy rocket with a spy satellite is back on.

United Launch Alliance announced Thursday the launch originally scheduled for this Saturday, then delayed, has been reset for June 9 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

The rocket will carry a satellite into orbit for the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office. Earlier this week that agency requested a postponement from the original launch date.

The launch, when it occurs, will be the first launch of a Delta IV Heavy since NASA used one to test-fly its deep-space astronaut capsule Orion in December 2014. The Delta IV Heavy is a configuration of the standard Delta IV with two liquid-fuel rocket boosters strapped to the rocket.

what time is it going to launch at london greenwitch time [gmt+1] ?

Fun fact. The Delta Heavy can take approximately 30 tonnes to Low Earth Orbit.

The Saturn V was rated for 45 tonnes to Lunar Orbit (and in Apollo 17

So, this is the most powerful rocket today and it can take 50% less payload to earth orbit than a 50 year old design could take to the moon.

:(

The thrust to weight ratio of the 50 years old design is inferior to current one..

Will the launch be live streamed? if yes then the link please

Well keep in mind the Saturn V was a monster sized rocket 111 meters tall (twice as tall as the Space Shuttle launch system) The Delta IV is only 72 meters.
