Delhi Police remove barricades from outside US embassy

everybody see the double standards of USA......
1-In January 1997, in the U.S., the Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Georgia, Gueorgui Makharadze, caused an accident that injured four people and killed a 16-year-old girl. He was found to have a blood-alcohol level of 0.15%, but was released from custody because he was a diplomat. The Georgian government waived his immunity upon request from the U.S.
2-On 27 October 1998, in Vladivostok, Russia, Douglas Kent, the American Consul General to Russia, was involved in a car accident that left a young man, Alexander Kashin, disabled. Kent was not prosecuted in a U.S. court.
3-On 27 January 2011, in Lahore, Pakistan, an American embassy employee, Raymond Allen Davis, shot and killed two Pakistani civilians. According to Davis, they were about to rob him and he acted in self-defense. When detained by police, Davis claimed to be a consultant at the U.S. consulate in Lahore. He was formally arrested and remanded into custody. Further investigations revealed that he was working with the CIA as a contractor in Pakistan. U.S. State Department declared him a diplomat and repeatedly requested immunity under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, to which Pakistan is a signatory. Police officials identified the dead men as Faheem Shamshad, 26, and Faizan Haider, 22. A third person, Muhammad Abad ur Rehman, was struck and killed by a U.S. consulate car responding to the shooting. In their investigation, police retrieved photographs, from Davis’ camera, of some sensitive areas and Pakistani defense installations; and it is possible that he may be charged with Espionage as well. The wife of one of the slain men subsequently committed suicide, reportedly out of fear that Davis will not be prosecuted in the Pakistani judicial system.

I sincerely hope that India keeps up this stance, may be next time there is no opportunity.
i too buddy.occasionally somebody has to remind them to remain on the ground ad midst all that super power status.

No body will give their best technology either America or Russia or France. That does not mean that they do need us. India's Refusal to give passport to professionals will hit US badly. More than are Indian who gets US VIza. They will not hit very hard but collapse without Indians.

Would this mean that it will hit our Indian 7/11 friend @JayAtl. We don't have Indian doctors coming here to get a job and then a H1B visa. They usually come here as student and than become a doctor. Maybe these people need to go back to India to help you guys out. But its not cutting edge medicine if all you see is malaria, typhus, dysentery and AIDS all the time.

US congress is debating a bill targeting incresing H1 visas to almost double after being forced by industry bigwigs(Google, Mark Zuckerbers, Microsoft etc), some of whom have threatened to move operations to India if that doesnt happen. You probably know its going to Indians and not Chinese restaurant workers right?

Anyways we will atleast get what we want unlike Chinese weaklings who got their embassy bombed by B-2's and couldnt do shyt except it.( Except mobs running over US embassies like barbarians that they are of course)

I was watching CNN reports on this issue , i have to say Americans are only talking about Visa frauds and are trying to justify strip search , American Reporters face while talking on that subject looked like " oh please boohoo , my mom has been strip searched several times No Big deal " .

There is no mention of where the maid is ? , why her Family migrated to usa ? , what was the purpose of high handedness ? , why was usa so willing to give maid full family so much protection ? , when maid had disappeared 6 months ago why she was not traced back ?

Americans clearly wants to hide their alterative motive from their own public , and their Media is doing good job by only showing selective reports , Kudo to Indian media who have put Americans in backfoot

The Madras high court bench in Madurai on Wednesday dismissed bail petitions of all the crew members of a US ship, arrested on charges of illegally carrying weapons on board the vessel and straying into Indian waters, stating the probe was in the initial stage and if they were released on bail, it could affect the investigation.

Justice M Sathyanarayanan said the petitioners did not provide sufficient documents to justify that they could be released on bail.

The 35 crew members of the ship MV Seeman Ohio were arrested on October 18 by Tamil Nadu police after it was intercepted by the coast guard. They were booked under Arms Act and Essential Commodities Act.

The ship crew was also accused of illegal purchase of diesel from local agents.

The judge, however, granted conditional bail to V Selvam, who was arrested along with five others for illegally providing 1500 litres of diesel to the ship.

The judge directed him to provide two personal sureties for Rs. 10000 each and sign before the Q-branch police daily until further orders.

But the anticipatory bail plea of Munithevan, who was also accused in the supply of diesel, was denied by the judge.

The captain of the ship, Dudinik Valentyn, nine other crew members and 25 guards of the ship in their bail plea alleged that the vessel was "asked to come to the port for taking shelter to escape from the cyclonic weather conditions in the Bay of Bengal. On reaching the port, as many 25 officials from eight different agencies barged into the anti-piracy vessel and confined all the 35 crew and falsely they intercepted the vessel on October 12."

The counsel for the crew contended that based on the Doctrine of Innocent Passage as envisaged in Section 3 of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea-1982, no charge could be levelled against the crew.

Twenty two foreign nationals among the crew are lodged in the Chennai Puzhal Central prison while another from UK and 12 Indians are in the Palayalamkottai Central Prison in Tirunelveli.

good man... now keep them in prison for rest of life.

they should know the consequences of trying to dump weapons in India for anti national activities.

Nonesense. How many indian students are there in American medical colleges? Do they have any provision or reservation in medical students coming from abroad.?

It is much easy to be a doctor in US compare to India. My brother (From US) is doing MBBS in India. He is not an outstanding student but has passed US exam with a very high score. He said that now he will get admission in PG very easily.

What else can you expect from PIO and NRI's ?? They act like they have obligation to show their loyalty towards their white owners

Send the cosular deputy, the maid, and both their families back and let them sort it out at home. Not our bussiness

Yup....a Dr. with creds from an Indian school is put in charge of a hospital immediately. When a guy with a medical degree from Harvard goes to India to beg for work....he has to go through an Indian air-conditioning school first.
