Indians never took the dossier shit seriously, sartaj aziz was supposed to have brought one to India as well..It was all speculations and story telling.

The way he did a photo op with it or the photo op of handing it to one of ban ki moon's secretaries - points to the worthlessness of it, and was only meant to score some brownie points with the pakistani masses.

He's repeating the same claims he made years ago - he 'alleges' he met with 'ISI officers' who apparently introduced themselves by giving their names, rank and the organization they were working with, to a man who, per Headley's own testimony, was known to the ISI as a double agent in the employ of the US.

All that smell of curry must have really messed up Indian olfactory senses if they can't detect the smell of such BS from a mile away.

Double jeopardy clause. Can't be tried over and over for the same crime....US govt already tried him on criminal grounds regarding his role in Mumbai attacks and he pleaded guilty and got 35 years imprisonment (added to what he already got for the other criminal cases).

There was a lot of outrage among many of the American victims families and also survivors that it was not life sentence or death penalty.

The fact is taking action against pakistan does not fit into americas strategic calculus right now. Other thing to introspect is that , was headley the only american to be involved in it ? What if the dead included their own agents?

Whether it is 1993 mumbai blast or 26/11 attacks there are lot of agencies involved in manipulating incidents to their own advantage. Its only that India is not learning from the mistakes. Instead of leaning on US we need to conduct operations on our own like Israel does. Without which we will gain no respect from other countries.

Right but thats just Headley,, What about the other he named who are at best part of the team and can be called conspirators.. What about Mr Saeed? What about those in LeT?

He named few including his childhood friend and the courts quickly delivered actions to all the ones he named.. But left out were the ones who played far more key roles but nothing was pursued nor anything done.. The biggest thing which People of Pakistan dont understand is these terrorists cannot be trusted or controlled forever. They will change sides eventually and will work against Pakistani awaam and common people. That is why they needed to do something about it.

One can only speculate..

One can presume that they do it in a different way, Americans are being killed in Afghanistan on a regular basis by the usual suspects supported by the usual suspects - nothing happens, Daniel pearl was killed on camera, no action was taken....I would only assume that they play big games and wait for opportune time or when they feel that action needs to be taken. .probably for them, geo politics comes first.

Similarly A Russian passenger plane and a fighter jet was taken down..which saw no Russian action. .Russian too probably wait for opportune time.

Pre poll promises are not to be taken seriously. That's what every election campaign promises but rarely delivers..
He could be a completely changed man if he wins..The burden of the presidency and putting up with the whole world isn't similar in view to an individual making promises to win.

US will never do any thing directly which will implicate it, they will just let things slip off and look other way around.

You overestimate India's influence in the US, and underestimate Pakistan in general. Your scenarios are unrealistic.

Besides, Pakistan is already super close to China, being a satellite state to China wouldn't really change much. It might even be good for Pakistan.

It is an unsustainable position for Pakistan. Just watch the ramping up of pressure on Pakistan this year alone under lame duck Obama....and then bring out the popcorn next year with a new president.

If its Trump, you better be prepared for an extra large world of hurt.

All this can be solved if you take action against the perpetrators and hand over JuD leadership to us for prosecution.

Unrealistic, nothing more than bravado. Even if Trump were to come into power, nothing much would change. The POTUS doesn't have these sweeping dictatorial powers, not much would change. There would be a major push back, if there was a perception at the pentagon that the president was either incompetent, or doing something stupid that damage's US national security.

My point is, the problems and solutions you've listed are imaginary.
