Now would you rather have us hating them? We tend to be little more objective about our relationships with other countries. We are not subservient to any country like Pakistan was to America in all previous decades and inching towards the same with regard to China. Anyways, look Japan got nuked by America but would you consider Japan to be a friend of America or not? Is Japan a developed country? There's another country that entire foreign policy is based on hating India. Look where its got them.

Its far from a joke, in 1982, Argentina had taken the Island for 3 months and it could have won the war if the US had not supported imperialist UK, if Argentina had not been under embargoed and if Argentina had waited end of 1982 to capture the Island. During the Falklands war, the UK was on the brink of defeat and Argentina had complete air superiority. If the UK had not threatened Argentina with its nuclear submarine, the Argentina Air force and Marine could have intervened massively to defeat the UK. The Royal marine had lost most of its ships including two Type 42 destroyers, the Atlantic Converyor, supply ships, etc. in the Falklands war. The UK will not be able to retain the Island as the UK is fading away economically and militarily and now it is only another US state and dog follower and muppet under the hands of the US war criminals. On the other hand Argentina is becoming a regional superpower along with Brazil and it is the next emerging country that the world must count and rely on.

Of course, Cameron will always say they will never surrender the Falkland Islands, just like Argentina will never give up on these islands. However, it is not the right time for Argentina to claim over Falklands Islands while US-UK alliance (I prefer to say alliance because it is not clear which one is backing the other one and which one is directing the other one, they usually act like a single country on foreign affairs) is still strong.

It is not a matter of defending the Falklands which UK is more than capable of doing the Eurofighter's stationed there would make mince meat out of the Argies airforce but can UK afford to support a campaign like before? that is the defining question.

If Ottomans had done in their territories what UK did in India or Iran, I would have totaly understood the reactions of those countries you mentioned. But, it really was not the case..
