Pakistan needs to develop it's own (defense) private sector and this won't happen if all weapons are purchased from the public sector. A few years ago, PA purchased some 200 AGL's for millions of USD's. Isn't it better to purchase a locally manufactured AGL ??

This means it has not entered service (yet) and certainly PA will trial the latest version.

They have requested more funds to upgrade production and invest in R&D.
