Dangerous American Police - maybe this is why people are protesting?

Canada is great and everyone really is that polite. :enjoy: Also, I don't have to worry about the police murdering me over some minor infraction. That's also pretty great.

I visit some of my relatives living in Canada once in a while.

They are fully naturalized Canadian citizens (they took the oath and everything), yet my grandparents still speak to each other, and to me in Cantonese only. :D

Though my cousins are all fluent English speakers as well. So I guess they have assimilated pretty well.

Canada is amazing, truly a beautiful place. But it's Hong Kong for me, or even a Mainland city if I get the chance to do that. I would love to live in Shanghai or Suzhou.

.
@jhungary is a mix of Vietnamese and Chinese.

But no doubt his primary identity is American.

Anyway, @AgentOrange's written English is far superior to that of Jhungary.

lol, when did you get a diploma of education I don't know about? I could in effect proofread and make what I post perfect, but I wonder, why bother? I am not taking an exam. I am happy with the way I wrote, and seems to me, you and some Chinese member are the only one have any problem with that.

And this my identity BS is getting way too old dude, if you have a problem with my Chinese Citizenship, take it to HK Immigration and CY Leung. Before they have a legal ground for removing my Citizenship, I am as Chinese as anyone holding the same passport pal

Not like I need your permission to be Chinese.

Everyone in my family speaks mandarin but my paternal grandmother spoke Cantonese. It was hilarious - she'd speak to us in mandarin and then to her sisters (she had 10 sisters!) in Cantonese.

True face of the US is coming out. They themselves are brutes, even to their own citizens.

Maybe then tell your Government from bombing Pakistani civilians in Pakistan with drones.

Do you want to give me a weekly count of total people killed in Bangladesh just in daily clashes for simple crimes like arson, property fraud, political affiliations? or in Pakistan for that matter? We have rare examples of these issues happening and you are making it sound like its everywhere in the US. When in a decade, an issue or two like this come up. While, in your countries....a few hundred people are killed monthly. And PLEASE, don't ever come to the US because OMG the Police is SO brutal!!!
(btw, do you pronounce it as Bang-La-Dash?).

The funny thing is that *you* were the one who had a problem with my citizenship and my English in the first place. Now that the attention is on you, you don't want to play anymore. :pop:

this is very bad situation
in a developed country

Is it worst than the situation in Karachi where ordinacy citizens will kill the other one if they just got pissed off at each other? How many get killed every day in Karachi? Let alone Peshawar or Koeta.....the situation is REALLY bad in those areas. Not where a person got killed by police and its questionable by some, happens like one case every few years.

The social ills of your country are just as bad as ours, if not worse. Some in India may ask why white women are such, excuse my French, whores? Others might as why white mothers are so selfish that they divorce and marry and divorce, punishing their children. Even more may ask why whites kick out their children at 18? And nearly all will ask why they hate their parents so much as to abandon them at nursing homes? I say things the way they are, sorry about that no hard feelings though.

loool what are you trying to say/prove in your comment bros? I dont understand at all.lool
Are you just repeating another version of what i just wrote ealier?:cheesy: Did you get even get the point i was trying to make? I was just saying you shouldn't stereotype/generalize a race like you did in your previous post, thats all. its not like i was trying to bad mouth you or India. For if you have been following my comments on here, you will realize that im actuallu usually the one to call on members here not to mock other developing/poorer countries or make insulting remarks/comments about a race like Chinkis, Japs, Viets(cong), Pakis, blackie Indians etc. Moreover i was saying that's what some naive people in britain and europe think about India, thats all, not like thats my opinion/thinking, since me myself i have been to/visited India before, i can attest that's not always true.

what i wanted you to understand is that your comment was indeed wrong/abusive for an entire race for that matter. My wife as well is black(though mixed race), does it also means she is not civilized as you mentioned in your comment about blacks should learn to be civilized?:cheesy: So i just meant you should watch your words next time pal, nothing much. so dont take it personally. I just expected you to apologize for making such inappropriate comments(which im sure all members here will agree with me it was) that's all.

Much of my family can speak Mandarin as well. Even my grandparents can speak a little Mandarin, though they prefer Cantonese of course. :P

There was this huge thing a while back in HK when everyone wanted to learn Mandarin, and not just to watch Mainland television shows and movies (which are still very popular here). But for pragmatic reasons.

I learned Mandarin and English when I was very young, so I am lucky in that regard.

Yeah especially since American media has made Vietnamese into one of their primary antagonists in films, TV series and other media.

You're a Chinese Canadian? I have quite a few extended family members living in Canada. They visit Hong Kong sometimes, though I think they have somehow "adapted" to the cold weather so they find it intolerably hot and humid in Hong Kong. :D They love it though, especially the sightseeing.

The Chinese government does not recognize "dual citizenship". And certainly not 5.

You're either a Chinese national, or you are a foreign national.

Since you haven't given up your other nationalities, you are a foreign national.

@Developereo

Again, take it up to the Chinese Government, and take it up to Hong Kong Immigration Department, but please do not derailed this thread anymore, this is an American police brutality thread, what does it matter what passport I got?? Either go back to the topic and shut up about my nationality, or you can open a thread discussing my identity if you wanted

I think the US police should follow the EU model. They keep killing unarmed people. Their weapons should be taken away and replaced with batons. Then i guess they will just start bludgeoning people to death.

Do they get an extra donut for every unarmed black guy they kill?

Perhaps it was a bit harsh, I admit that. My original point should have been clarified more: African Americans belonging to the lower socioeconomic group have understand the police will shoot you if you resist arrest. You can't strong arm a cop. I don't like how these incidents are viewed as cops are hunting for blacks.

America and Americans are pretty messed up people. Their police is no exception.
Now wait a minute man, you just made an oxymoron statement there. You can't put 2 &3 together and calculate it to four. Americans maybe uninformed but not messed up. We all have share of messed up people on throughout entire globe. So you can't single out Americans. I think Americans are much more blunt, straight forward than any other countrymen.

Really dude, this is the third off topic post regarding my nationality, again, as I said, if you have any problem, please do take it to the Chief Executive Office or Hong Kong Immigration Department or even Chinese Foreign Affair office, alternatively, you can open a thread here and discuss the identity in Hong Kong, I may or may not join you.

@Horus Can you please explain to me why my nationality alone have anything to do with the topic of American Police Brutality? Please can you remove this off topic comment

He hasn't mentioned it since. Why post multiple times complaining about the same issue that troubles you if you truly want to let it rest? Please stick to the topic about American police brutality.

I'll admit though I have personally seen how police in US manipulate video evidence to there own advantage. Audio being muted and record button not being pressed intentionally to make up a charge. It's the cops word against you is taken as an evidence and colleagues always corporate to help eachother. It's an union thing

I have no problem with a Chinese Getting Canadian, ZERO PROBLEM, just that this forum require you to raise one flag for location, one flag for Allegiance, not doing so would be false flag. Your allegiance is very obviously toward China, (you are using a Chinese CG ship in your profile, hence you need to change your flag to one China one Canada, otherwise it would considered false flag.

This is not my rules, this is the forum rules

Correct flags

Also, its seems to me, you are the one refusing to keep debating the term "Human Right" and "Civil Right"

I want to play, just you did not offer. it's your move dude

First post he mention my nationality, I tell him to take it somewhere else.

Second post he mentioned, I reiterated that he is going off topic and asked him to stop.

Third post, it's time to point to the administrator to do something.

You need to quote the post so administrator can take it down, they are not gonna read the whole forum and find the off topic post and remove them for you.

Anyway, it's your move, not mind
