Crown Prince Chairs Meeting for Committee for General Intelligence Presidency Restructuring

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, chaired on Thursday the first meeting of the ministerial committee tasked with restructuring the General Intelligence Presidency, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
Meeting in Riyadh, the committee reviewed the reform plan including an assessment of the current situation in light of best practices and identification of deficiencies.
It focused on the organizational structure of the Presidency of General Intelligence, current legal frameworks and regulations, mechanisms of attraction and qualification, and policies, procedures and governance.
The Committee made the necessary recommendations in this regard and will continue its meetings until the completion of its task.
