For now this is a good strategy. They have scored 73 without losing a wicket. Tomorrow they would have all 10 wickets

But yeah tomorrow playing for draw would be stupid. It is either Pakistan wins it or loses it. No draw possible

This is how they try to play tomorrow looking at the series.

2.5 for 60 overs=150

Then try to get 130 or even 140 run in last season at 4.5-5 which will be quite stupid. Pakistan will need to score at 3 from get go. Again this is best case scenario anyway. In reality if ball reverses for Australian bowlers then its game over.

I'm honestly not commenting at this from some retarded India vs Pak POV but just as a serious test cricket fan.

It was indeed good so see Pak play tests at home after a long time but maybe they played it a bit too safe in preparing those wickets, tests are..well, boring enough for the average person, these tedious draws on dead wickets just makes it worse, and I'd say the same if we prepare that kind of wicket too. The sport needs good test matches, not lopsided and boring in favor of the bat, lopsided in favour of the ball is better, I'd argue. At least we get a result.

Ajaz Patel's 10 wicket haul, for a recent example. That was amazing !

LAHORE: Australia’s 14-member white ball contingent has arrived in Pakistan for the first time in 24 years amid tight security.

According to the details, Australia’s ODI and T20 squad reached the Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore via a chartered flight.

During the white-ball series, Pakistan and Australia will play three One-day Internationals (ODIs) and one T20 international next week..

Captain Aaron Finch, Sean Abbott, Jason Behrendorff, Nathan Ellis, Ben McDermott, Ben Dwarshuis, Marcus Stoinis and Adam Zampa will link with the remainder of the squad following the final Test.
The squad will commence training on Sunday in preparation for the first ODI scheduled to be played on March 29 (Tuesday).

Australia's ODI, T20 squad​

On February 22, Cricket Australia had announced a 16-member a squad for its ODI and Twenty 20 International Pakistan tour.

According to the statement issued by Cricket Australia, batter Aaron Finch will lead the squad, while David Warner, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Mitch Starc and Glenn Maxwell will not be part of the squad.

However, the Aussies suffered a blow last week when Kane Richardson suffered an injury and was ruled out of the series. Left-armer Ben Dwarshuis has been included in the squad.

Pakistan could easily be out for 160, could easily win with only three or four wickets down, might get to 310-2 and be bowled out for 330, or come up with some wild, bewildering new alternative freeform swashbuckling approach.

This number 1 team vs 6th. The gap in quality is huge and Pakistan pitches are not dust bowls and provide banana reverse swing. Australia batted first so thats another huge advantage.

But like I said this Pakistani batting lineup is poor. They don't take advantage when ball isn't reverswing. Pak also no longer have likes of Younis etc who used to trash spinners like Lyon for fun. Pak end up with RR of 2. Australians take on new ball and then slow down when ball reverse. Pak spinners are also of poor quality.

I predict Pakistan batting will collapse sooner then later. Already tuk tuk have started and ball is reversing.

So as expected they are batting at RR of 2.5. They expect to chase 130 runs in last session. Which will not happen and we will end up with another draw in best case scenario for Pakistan.
