Manufacturing superior quality construction equipment is a function of demand/supply. If we can import the best of the best and making locally is more expensive, what would the choice be?

You don't manufacture because the demand is too low, less than $200 million for a country of 160 million. You don't even have the technological capabilities to manufacture agricultural machinery- ask your agricultural university about it.

Remember the AbhiNoneDone episode? You guys kept saying Mig-21 wreckage was that of F-16? Then the dosra banda rona donna? If 100 PLA died then ask your IA to post pictures just like what you guys did when there is a conflict with pakistan... India claims 40 PLA dead but has no photos to back it up, Bhakts say it is totally true.

China claims that they've captured well over 100 Jawans at Galwan and have the photos/videos to back it up, Bhakts say that they are fake.
