jaats are divided into hundreds of gotras. while marrying jaats (North Indians Hinuds) avoid 3 gotras; their own, their mothers and theirs grandmothers.pull the caste thread longer, you will find connection to many things.
but can you explain gotra and jaat in simple words??
You stretched things too far. What was wrong in what I’ve just said?

they are considered as extended family.and what is the reasoning for all of this??
yup things are almost same culturally. yeah down south they do practice it.
It’s true that Indians have been marrying within their cast for a long time and that will eventually have the same result as cousin marriages in the long term and there are plenty of other communities that suffer the same thing for examples Ashkenazi Jews who are a relatively small community and tend to marry within. Which has led to inbreeding. (only brought them up because they are a well studied group on this subject)jaats are divided into hundreds of gotras. while marrying jaats (North Indians Hinuds) avoid 3 gotras; their own, their mothers and theirs grandmothers.

There is difference between Gotra and Caste, do some research before copy-pasting your hate against Hindus.

They seem to be doing fine and actually are one of the most successful groups of people in the world, but obviously it’s best to avoid it by everyone.and israel hasn't been affected by that, yes?? they have a capable military and capable intel network.
