Pakistan has reported another 58 deaths and 3,153 infections by coronavirus during the last 24 hours (Saturday), showed the data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Sunday morning.

As per the NCOC figures, after the addition of 58 new deaths, the overall toll has now surged to 26,720 whereas the number of total infections now stood at 1,204,520 after adding the fresh 3,153 cases.

During the last 24 hours (Saturday), a total of 57,792 tests were conducted throughout Pakistan whereas the positivity ratio stood at 5.45 percent. The number of patients in critical care was 5,370.

During the last 24 hours (Saturday), as many as 3,797 patients have recovered from the virus whereas the total recoveries stood at 1,086,785. As of Sunday, the total count of active cases in the country was recorded at 91,015.

As many as 444,464 coronavirus cases have so far been confirmed in Sindh, 413,182 in Punjab, 168,258 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 102,617 in Islamabad, 32,569 in Balochistan, 33,268 in Azad Kashmir and 10,162 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Pakistan reports 2,928 coronavirus cases, 68 deaths in single day

  1. Pakistan has reported 68 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,218,749. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 27,072 on Friday.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 2,928 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 12,345 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 7,224 in Sindh 5,354 in KP, 895 in Islamabad, 728 in Azad Kashmir, 344 in Balochistan, and 182 in GB.

Furthermore 448,658 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 419,423 in Punjab 170,391 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 103,720 in Islamabad, 33,628 in Azad Kashmir, 32,707 in Balochistan and 10,222 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Pakistan has so far conducted 18,740,356 coronavirus tests and 57,626 in the last 24 hours. 1,125,952 patients have recovered in the country whereas 4,960 patients are in critical condition.

Pakistan on Sunday reported 71 coronavirus related deaths and 2,580 new positive cases during the past 24 hours, data released by National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) stated.

Pakistan has so far tested 18,852,460 people, out of which 55,027 tested Covid-19 positive in a single day. The national positivity ratio stands at 4.68 percent. The death toll from the deadly disease has reached 27,206.

Meanwhile, 3,164 people also recovered in 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 1,132,726. Moreover, 380,236 people have been vaccinated against the disease in the country in a single day.

According to a province-wise breakdown, Sindh has so far reported 450,126 cases, Punjab 421,800, Balochistan 32,757 and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has reported 171,072 infections. Similarly, 104,114 Covid-19 cases have been reported in Islamabad, 5,908 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 33,732 infections have been reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir since the outbreak of the pandemic.

Earlier in March, the Covid positivity rate rose to above 10 percent. In April, it gradually declined and reached eight percent. Then again, the positivity rate started declining and in May it was reported lower than seven percent.

However, in June the positivity rate continued to decline and remained below four percent.
 
Numbers of people not showing up to receive their second dose is increasing day by day so much so that now we have 30 million plus people with single dose only. Kindly urge people around you to get fully vaccinated.
 
Pakistan reports 2,580 new Covid cases, 71 deaths

Pakistan reported 2,580 new cases of coronavirus on during the past 24 hours, taking the tally for confirmed cases to 1,223,841.

At least 71 fatalities were also reported during the period. A total of 27,206 patients have succumbed to the virus in the country so far.

Moreover, 3,164 recoveries were also reported in a day, taking the total recoveries to 1,132,726.
