Contact has been lost with Lion Air flight #JT610

Have some shame. People just died.
I have never made fun of any victims. I wanted to find out why the engines failed in this new airplane

And thus I pray to the devil that I worship that you or any of your close relative (assuming you have any) or anyone else you truly care about will be experiencing a fatal accident. (and NO I'm NOT JOKING here)

Well I do (and I'm serious about it)
I don't usually went with my harsh style when not using my real name & credential, because when I do so I prefer to do it face-to-face / eyes-to-eyes instead of behind LCD screen, however when some children making fun of a disaster (where real people do end up dead for real) it always trigger my "good side"

BTW what make you think a brand new bird that went nose-dive from FL037 was suffering from engine related problem?!

As usual, I see people with no aviation experience, other than being passengers, making declarations and baseless speculations about this tragedy.

You should read the ridiculously of the medias when they speculate or inquiring regarding the non functioning of the plane ELT. Common sense dictate that radio wave doesn't travel underwater especially 100' deep seawater, not to mention the ELT unit is located in the plane nose cone which is shattered upon impact.

In aviation maintenance, there are difference system status codes reported by the pilot.

Code One means the aircraft flew a sortie or route with no issues.

Code Two means the aircraft flew a sortie or route with a system discrepancy that does not affect flight operations.

Code Three means the aircraft flew a sort or route with a system discrepancy that require the aircraft to be removed from flight status.

So what is that 'airspeed problem'? We do not know. Which was it, the primary airspeed indicator or the backup or both? Primary indicator is calculated indicator. Backup is raw or less refined. Both systems draws their pitot/static data from the pitot/static probes outside the aircraft. So if both systems were affected, that would be a Code Three status write up. From here it gets more complicated.

So everyone -- please stop the baseless speculations as if you know what you are talking about. Let the investigators do their work. :tdown:

It seems that a disproportionate number of fatal plane accidents have happened in this region.....
Something must be done!
