as long as china does not start new production for this concept it might be bit realistic to update current j-8 to this variant.. other vise it will be too late for something like 1970s plane to be producing in 21st century..

i dont think Pakistan would not be sitting idle.let us get over with JF then you would see further developments

no use for us!
we MUST not be investing into too many platforms of the same league!
i mean we got J10 for high end role, JF for the neumerical advantage and general missions. now if we can get a few more advanced planes just to complement the J10 fleet it will be ideal and J8 wont be an obvious choice for this role!
