Command and Staff Conference held at Naval Headquarters Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, 28 Feb 13 - Command and Staff Conference 1/2013 of Pakistan Navy was held at Naval Headquarters. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila chaired the conference, while all Principal Staff Officers at Naval Headquarters and Field Commands also participated.

In the Command and Staff Conference, issues pertaining to security situation, operational preparedness, significant ongoing projects and future plans of Pakistan Navy were discussed. The Naval Chief expressed satisfaction over operational preparedness of Pakistan Navy in the face of prevalent maritime challenges. While taking stock of the forthcoming Exercise AMAN-13, Chief of the Naval Staff reiterated the importance of this exercise for maritime security and contributing positively towards peace and stability in the region
