COAS warns Nawaz in covered words; Is this going somewhere?

What comment you are talking about??? Elaborate first, don't waste our time.
The m.....rf....r op himself apologize for wrong video.....just check it first don't become a mere sheep herd:hitwall:

He posted an year(s) Old video but claimed that is the reason of COAS response:hitwall:

he should be banned instantly.....you people should thank aeronaut and webmaster more than anyone else.

OP linked a video which is from 2008 (deliberate misrepresentation) - kindly point out where PMLN office holders have assaulted Army as an institution. Musharraf is not army no matter how much anyone tries to spin it, he is a retired officer who is now the leader of a political party.

Since many retired army officers who frequent TV talk-shows have accused Iftikhar Choudary of personal vendetta can we use the same logic and claim that judiciary is under assault by these analysts? Should the current CJ make the same statements COAS is making?

The COAS is sub-ordinate to those holding elected office who are entitled to air their views openly by law. If he responds by such threats, he is no better than a thug in a shiny uniform.
Dude look at the circumstances that Pakistan is rite now...we are in a constant state of war.....our Jawans are fighting and getting martyred almost everyday .....its not just in FATA but the threats are on other boarders too...India/Iran etc....then the unrest in Karachi....Balochistan etc....dont you think this aint the right time to grill the army in this way?

But things have changed now and as hard as they wish the ones with the guns wont come to power, even if they want it badly...they only comes to Pakistan's rescue when Pakistan is doing good, not when its in this mess.
I guess you need to revisit history of Pakistan economy.

whatever but you shouldnt have abused.....you could have reported it....that means anyone disagreeing with you will get abused then?

- We have been in such a war since 1947, doesn;t mean we can allow any person or institute to strip away the rights of citizens.
- No one is criticising those Jawans, army opened the Pandora's box by backing Musharraf. Still kindly point out where govt has targeted PA as an institute?

Considering that the past policies of the Army have contributed a great deal in creating the present mess, it is high time that their role is examined critically and fairly. The Army jumped at the chance to get into the Afghan War when USSR invaded. They sold themselves to get CSF money and plunged Pakistan into the WoT as a participant. They nurtured and even now protect its extra-State agents that now they are losing control over. They are murdering and disappearing Pakistanis in Baluchistan and elsewhere without any accountability. And much more besides.

I think it is the right time to grill the Army this way.

i say we have done some real blunders in the past....our Government...our Army.....everyone...nobody was a holy cow....but look at things under recent develpoments....wasnt it much better if the PM himself personally or secretly had passed his grievances to the Army if he has any rather then allowing his ministers to make it a tamasha infront of the world?

Aaaah you are propagating absolutely incorrect information without any source....and wen asked you have no reply........what manners are these:mad:
nowonder you are a PMLN supporter....big mouth and batameez
smileys-confused-821384.gif

I propose the next military takeover also amend the constitution to read that the head of the Army, with absolute power, would be the head of the Country........Who better to head the country then those who are actually willing to sacrifice their lives for it. So by default, the head of the Army becomes the head of the state.

To hell with this farce democracy and it being the best revenge on us Pakistanis!!!

P.S. I personally believe that the statement of COAS is still too moderate and a little too late. The humiliation being met out to the one person who has actually cared about Pakistan is just unacceptable.
Most of you trolls are mad because your Zani khan lost the election. If he had won the election, you would have never been talking out of your butt like you are doing right now. You guys are bunch of hypocrites. You dont have a problem with democracy, you have a problem with Nawaz sharif because he basically butt raped Zani khan and his troll burger bachay. Be honest and admit it.

I guess you need to revisit history of Pakistan economy.

I dont need to revisit I lived it
there were times when we were living within our means
then there were times when we were living on chanda for wars
you need to analyze it

You are correct that we created this mess together, and it will be solved only by us all together. No one is blameless, and no one is above criticism either.

The Army is to be commended for protecting the border and the bravery of its rank and file honored, no doubt. But that should not mean that the underhand political games and extra-judicial and illegal operations it carries out with impunity should not be stopped. The COAS should know better than to threaten the elected PM.

In the same way, the politicos should know that while it is their right of free speech that can be exercised on the floor of the house, they should remain mindful of what perceptions and complications can be created unnecessarily. Why make a tough job even harder?

Importantly, the Judiciary should remain impartial and follow the exact letter of the law, taking great care not to whore themselves out to the highest bidders, or even the perception thereof.

All sides should play by the rules, otherwise we will be in a world of hurt and trouble, just like in 1971. History never forgives anyone.

To be honest, it really does not matter how we arrive at the solution, in public or in private, as long as we arrive at the solution. That is the important thing to keep in mind.
