General Hulusi Akar (Retired), Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Turkey called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), today.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, regional security and measures to further enhance bilateral defence collaboration were discussed. COAS said that Pakistan values its unique relationship with Turkey and would always stand by our brothers.
The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan's contributions for conflict prevention in the region and for standing by Turkey & pledged the same for Pakistan.

. . . . . .
an indigenous MRLS was in production so joint production of Rockets will make sense, @cabatli_53 is there anything which Turkey can offer in this regard bro ?

The most significant that under modern ammunition that comes to my mind are AAM. These are a big feat. Turkey is close, and we would need our own AAM for Project Azm, it could help a lot.

Turkey is also the only country except United States that has made guidance kits, or AGM, I am not sure which one, that can operate with the F-35.

.
To become a power in the region you need three factors 1) Economic power (e.g Japan is economical power but doesn't have veto power because there's no nuclear ) 2) Military power (Malaysia and Turkey economically very strong but not strong like Pakistan Military ) 3) Soft Power.
Pakistan and Malaysia both have a very good strategic location and with the combination of Turkey, it is a sign of our Ottman empire reincarnation.
to slow down this process international powers now resurfacing the case against Erodgan and UN first time visit to Pakistan, isn't strange so suddenly?

Erdogan doesn't have sufficient knowledge on how to correctly utilize rebel packed Toyota pickups in hybrid warfare. That is why he came to the more experienced people for technical guidance. We pioneered that black art in the 70's what Erdogan is doing now.

Watermellon Seller is nothing but a shrill even if us Pakiss teach him the art he will screw up as usual besides after the psuedo-coup of 2016 he purged the experienced and competent generals and army officials with political appointed hacks this is why they are failing in Syria and Libya Turkey future is to be the attack dog for the Russians who will tolerate his shanagians for some time before ditching him

Ohh brother !!!

Please try to use just 1% of mind before making such claims. Pakistan historically has unique ties with Turkey, which is beyond diplomacy, cultural as well as the Support for Ottomans. Military exchange between this specific region of Pakistan and Turkey has been going on since centuries, during Mughal era, special gifts as well as Ladies for marriage were sent as present and good will gesture. Around 1/3rd Mughal army during the time of Humayun and post Sher Shah Suri and during akbar’s reign. This in turn resulted in the birth of urdu.

The current Turk-Pak relations are more than just interests, it is Erdogan. He is a supporter of Ottoman, wants similar power back again, knows who the real allies actually are, those who never said ill for Turkey, currently, Turkey is quite much isolated in the world, except for their relations with some EU countries and Russia. During these times, they are recalling their lost allies and focusing on creating a bloc again.

That is why Pak and Turk are joining hands more than ever, a relationship built on trust and true historical support and friendship, yes interests also lies but again...

Plus, Turkey has tons of research and dev programs in the civil and military sector, they are going to be the next China in terms of Tech industry given the huge amount being poured into R&D similar to China 2 decades ago. It is best in our interests to side with them for this purpose as well, and they need investment which we can arrange time to time.

And secondly, Pakistan isn’t bootlicking anyone. Everyone Comes to Pakistan due to the importance of this Unstable yet very strong country. We are welcoming to anyone even politically, KSA and US knows that, they try to achieve their goals through us and we in turn get our share of fruits as well as troubles. Now Turkey is coming to us, it is because we are important to many, don’t mistake Pakistan for some random country, Because we aren’t any ordinary country despite the unstable economy.

Cut the Usual neo-Ottoman bs, the main reason why Pakistan-Turkey have close ties for several decades was mainly we and Turkey and Iran until 1979 were part of the Anti-Soviet camp of nations or the Baghdad Pact you can thank Uncle Sam for that. Most Pakistanis only like Turkey not because of its society which is pretty liberal and die hard secular despite Erdogan and his so called Islamists populism which is facade for his supporters. The Pakistani media then uses those nice Erdogan sound bites and blow it out of proportion I dont oppose Turkey they are an ally for us in military, trade and geo politics but some folks here want us to be involved in Turkish imperialism in Syria,Libya and etc if we oppose Saudi Imperialism in Yemen and Iranian imperialism in the Mid East we should be critical of Turkish imperialism as well
