Cleric terms Women’s Protection Bill contrary to Islamic Sharia

first of all Inna Lillah e wainna elahe Rajeoon for your mentality. Secondly Ours or yours male society might not be considering a divorced woman for a "decent" male BUT In Islam there is no taboo attached to marrying a divorced woman. Who can be more DECENT man than the last prophet of Islam, Muhammad (PBUH) in the entire world who had married a divorced woman. Please read Surah Ahzab (chapter 33, verse number 37).

As far as dirty women? wooohhh so who in your opinion can be declared a dirty woman? the one who gets divorce instead of tolerating the abuse of the husband?
and what is your definition of a decent man? We have seen so many bearded men, offering five times a day but alongside have multiple sexual relation (offcourse hidden relations), so i would say to hell with such decent men, I would rather like to be with not so decent man but a respectful one who does not lie because once you stop lying your character starts to come out of all wrongdoings one by one.

We would like to see our country more progressive sans any crime against women. PERIOD
A woman who divorces an abusive husband who will be a negative influence on her kids and a threat to them and teaches them to not tolerate abuse anywhere in life is a very decent lady in my books

And this hinduish taboo of not marrying divorced women needs to eradicated i mean what if the divorced lady parted ways cuz of her ex,es drug addiction why do we always pin the blame on the wife?

The society has started to change rather I would say that people were marrying divorced women even decades back in Pakistan.

Too little too late..........But yes it is good initiative in right direction......One can disagree about minor details of the bill or capacity of existing system to implement it but I am sure you can't disagree as far as protection of weaker elements of our society is concerned. I will like to mention, minorities, women harassment/abuse , child abuse and simply our criminal justice system is not perfect. .................. To my horror , when someone tries to do something in right direction from our power circles , people like Mufti naeem and partners are impediments in accomplishment of these goals.......
So there is intellectual holiday in our society as far as legislation and culture innovation is concerned due to so called tunnel vision of religious clerics. ........This tunnel vision resulted into religious extremism and sectarianism in our society.......Many clerics are the ideological base of TTP and likes........... These clerics are spreading hate and anti state narratives regularly in Friday sermons , thus generating good pool of recruits for terrorist organisations..............
If you want to eliminate the negative trends from the society you need to challenge these scholars during Friday sermons in thier mosques. DON'T LET THEM SPREAD HATE AND extremism in our society. .......If one can ask Hazrat Umer about his dress in mosque (Famous example Muslim khalif) then why not to ask these muslim clerics to back up your argument with Quranic verse or Hadeeth....... We cannot accept tunnel vision of extremist clerics, cooking up in thier minds during free time.

In Pakistan, an estimated 5000 women are killed per year from domestic violence, with thousands of others maimed or disabled. In 1988 a survey showed that 800 women were killed amongst dowry-related violence, bride burnings (also known as stove deaths), in 1989 the number rose to 1100, and in 1990 it stood at 1800 estimated killings. Newspapers in Lahore in a six-month period (1997) reported on average 15 attacks a month. Women's eNews reported that 4,000 women had been attacked in this manner in Islamabad's surroundings over an eight-year period, and that the average age range of victims was between 18 and 35, with an estimated 30 percent being pregnant at the time of death.

Between 150 and 400 cases of acid attacks are reported in Pakistan every year. As many as 80 per cent of the victims are women, and almost 70 per cent are below 18. Such attacks are not used to kill the victim but to cause disfigurement, and can often cause blindness, hearing loss and physical and mental pain. The attacks are often the result in an escalation of domestic abuse. As many as 98 per cent of the cases filed by acid attack victims are never decided due to existence of various loopholes in the law.

I am sure a lot of men get killed as a result of violence and crime in Pakistan too.Yes we have a serious crime problem in our society and thats because we dont have a properly working justice system and police force. The common man cant get justice. The only way to end such violence is to ensure the perpetrators get punished, so punishment can act as a deterrent against would be criminals. For instance in case of acid attack on some woman(or man for that matter),if a proper investigation is done and it is established based on evidence without any reasonable doubt who did the crime then its just a matter of imposing punishment on the perpetrator ,maybe putting the same acid of the same concentration/quantity on his/her face as he/she did on the victim(yes it sounds harsh but the crime is equally harsh).
This can only be done if the menace of corruption and nepotism that has been plaguing this society is dealt with, which is not likely to happen anytime soon as the very beneficiaries of such a system are the rulers("democratic forces")

Note that these measures are not general and only come into effect for protection of the victim against possible harm, injury or death.
Regardless, cases of misuse of this law are unlikely to be successful since the court would need to have some evidence before convicting and the courts simply don't hand out blind judgements

"If the Court is satisfied that the complaint prima facie shows that the defendant
has committed an act of violence or is likely to commit an act of violence, it may issue an
order on the basis of an affidavit of the aggrieved person or any other material before the
Court."

Prima facie. Latin for "at first sight." Prima facie may be used as an adjective meaning "sufficient to establish a fact or raise a presumption unless disproved or rebutted;" e.g., prima facie evidence.

In common law jurisdictions, prima facie denotes evidence that, unless rebutted, would be sufficient to prove a particular proposition or fact.

In other words the court will assume that that the man is guilty unless he rebuts it with evidence or in other words, guilty until proven innocent.
That "guilt" may be just a slap; that, together with the observation that further violence might occur in the future and thats it, the man is done for, there goes his property, his dignity down the drain.
This law would would be like a sword hanging over mens necks all the time, they misbehave but a little, get angry and say something rash, slam the table and before he knows it hes "likely to commit an act of violence" and that sword falls straight through.
Its just an attempt to re engineer the social/economical/moral fiber of this society under the guise of protecting women by artificially establishing women as overlords whose approval men must have in order to keep their property and dignity or else "likely to commit an act of violence".Its like a virtual castration. :butcher:

What male victims? In Pakistan? You guys are not serious.
bro there are male victims in Pakistan they are beaten up by their wife and in laws.we had a male servant how was about 30 years old one day he cam to our house with his baggage the guys was bleeding he told us that he was beaten and thrown out of his own house by his wife and in laws.we take him to the hospital and next day called her wife to settle the matter.after few days he came back saying that he can't live with that bitch .this time he was assaulted by knife.
this is only one case there are few more which are witnessed by myself.bro these type of things happen but go unreported or are suppressed i am not saying that we should not protect women from abuse what i am saying protect both genders from any type of abuse.

how would you feel if your mother, sister or your daughter was used as punch bag;
The people protesting against this law are more than likely the ones who would use their mothers, sisters and daughters as 'punching bags', or worse. These are the people who see nothing wrong with treating women as second class and view and treat women as 'property' rather than human beings.

Let me know how you handling your daughter or wife, sis etc in the conditions when she was motivated by mind, have affair with males, your wife is doing work which are not tolerant by you, what if you are unable to teach them.
Ask for a divorce from your wife if you believe you can no longer live together - why resort to violence?
As for disciplining children - the preference always has to be non-violence. Beyond a certain age (say in their teens and older), corporal punishment does not change behavior in a meaningful manner. The goal behind raising children is to make them comprehend the consequences of their actions. A teenager or young adult is rationalizing (in various ways) their actions - physical punishment at that age is more likely to instill fear and resentment rather than encourage a change in their thinking.

Violence as a form of discipline is not the answer for wives, husbands, teenage daughters or sons (excluding gentle spankings for toddlers etc, if absolutely needed).

Some delusional liberal puppets as Quran has said are too deaf and dumb and blind to see it but soon statistics will reveal what horror this law will bring for women.
Courts: "Mustafa Qadri is a terrorist and murderer and is sentenced to death"
Mullahs/Religious nut-jobs issue threats of terrorism and violence across the country.

GoP: "We have passed laws to protect women and children"
Mullahs/Religious nut-jobs issue threats of violence and terrorism against women and girls across the country.

Mullahs are not threatening the law is stupid as hell and not applicable at all and if tried will only increase more voilence against women. Even those who passed this law know this a bloody joke and nothing else. But western puppets will know it soon statistics will give a slap on their face

I hope you are right. But world wide stats show opposite. And we are perturbed because we worry that it would only increase violence for women instead of making life their easier but western stooges want to learn hard way.

Western stooges? But as far as my memory works I am a full blooded :P Pakistani and I want our Pakistani Muslim men to learn the hard way.

Secondly Let us wait and see the result once the law is implemented practically. Before that claiming anything on part of all those who are afraid of this law is uncalled for.

Do you even realize how ridiculous your argument is? Let me paraphrase it for you:

ZARVAN/Mullahs: "How dare you try to stop domestic violence and abuse by passing laws imposing fines and imprisonment! To show you that you are wrong, men are now going to outright murder their wives, daughters and sisters instead of first physically and mentally abusing them! HA! Take that!"

Cleric terms Women’s Protection Bill contrary to Islamic Sharia

Mufti-Naeem-300x168.jpg

Mufti Naeem strongly opposed the bill and expressed his concerns over it, calling it a ‘tragedy’.

“Rulers under their mental slavery of the West are forgetting their social values also,” he remarked in the statement.

I fully support and endorse his views.
our political and military leadership is busy in shameless and slavish pursuit of Appeasing Hindu Zionists and Christian crusaders and Klingon Warriors.

he should announce the gathering of all steadfast Muslim leadership of the county and plan a counter narrative and action against it. the pious and selfless Muslim sisters of Jamiyah Hafsa should be requested to assist the Muslim brothers by offering themselves for practical demonstration like they have offered themselves to pious Muslims in Iraq and Syria against the Persian & Russian Pagans.

the coordinates of the meeting should be uploaded on the internet to help all the faithful congregate there with ease. and to show true strength of faith ..it should be held inside North Waziristan to show the solidarity to the brothers who are fighting the Pagan and slave army of Pakistan. live streaming of the gatherings and use of satellite phones should be ensured to show the Crusaders and the slave army how the technology can be used for pious gathering to counter their pornographic law.

the Daesh handbook on Women treatment should be made mandatory read for all real and pious Muslims and read in the gathering while practically demonstrating it on Jamiay Hafsah sisters.
only through piety, truthfulness and real devotion can we turn the slave leadership of this country to rethink its sinful decision which wil only cause vice , vulgarity and fornication on every corner of Pakistan.

The results of this gatherings will be hopefully explosive and exemplary. no point in hiding inside the cities and condemning the shameful acts of slave leadership of Pakistan.

Law is not according to Quran and Sunnah and not even going to be implemented just another law to please west I know those who voted for this law are laughing at it.

You and the person who thanked you are sick people. You should be put down with extreme prejudice, just like rabid dogs, for the betterment of the society as a whole.

Remembered in our society, divorced or dirty women who are declared as liberal women are not acceptable for decent males, where other only using & recycling them.

Now the decision is in the government & establishment court. What you wanna like to do with this country.
I have no personal issue in this regard, because I am single & we have checks to find women's of our minds & religion. But remember God is watching every one.
