Ultimately it would have made NO difference. Even if india had not got involved, the creation of bangladesh was ALWAYS inevitable. Doesn't matter if it happened in 1971, 1981, 1991,2001, 2011 or 2021 for that matter. bangladesh was created for the same reason that Pakistan was created.

Pakistan is the result of various conquests of india, the defeat and subjugation of india by non-indians. The surrender and defeat of hindu indian armies going back centuries. Nearly a 1000 years in fact. One bad day in 1971 doesn't change that reality. In fact, 1971 is not stopping Pakistan from slaughtering indian soldiers at will in ioK or the LOC with indians being too weak, powerless and helpless in being able to stand up to the Pakistan military. That too despite being more than 7× bigger than Pakistan and having the full backing pf the West and Russia.

Performance of Pakistan airforce in 1971? Worst. Around 94k troops surrendered during 1971 and because they didn't trust their own government, there airforce and navy too due to there poor performance in war. Most of the time Pakistan was ruled by army unlike India and the army always tried to make themselves strong so Pakistan also invested in fighter plans and navy too much. They had modern equipment of that time for all the three branches of the army. But the machine didn't fight. It needs man skill and bravery and Pakistan army lacking of that. Despite of all modern aircraft 94k solder surrendered !

The figure of 94k is wrong. Actual military was around 60K rest were civilians and police. This is the only thing Hindus to celebrate in the last 1000 year of Muslim and other foreign domination on them.
