That is why most Indian muslims or Pakistani were originally from the lower caste. They do not want to be regard as lower castes any more and want to progress. However, in traditional caste system. So many of them turn to Islam in the past thousand years.

Even though some Taiwanese claim independence because of CCP, but most of Taiwanese like Chinese mainlanders, think Tibet are part of China!

Taiwanese may think that they are not Chinese, but most of them think that they are Hua Ren (Han Chinese people).
