Chinese P3C - An alternative for PC 3?

Look at the tail body and front sides, in far view. It is P3C styles much similar.

P3-C is an excellent standard design for a Prop based MPA Aircraft, Russian MPA is ditto copy of P-3 Orion except the fuselage is stretched never the less both a potent MPAs, the rear is a necessary design it has required equipment/sensors so its not essentially a copy but a standard design requirments.

Nope. I talk about this real picture below :D

The Chinese aircraft is a high wing aircraft compared to the P3

As for the tail, those radars are a common sight on anti submarine aircraft. Even the Atlantique has one

Pakistan have Atlantique Maritimes.

The Atlantique ATL3 maritime patrol aircraft, successor to the Atlantique ATL1 and ATL2, incorporates an enhanced weapon system with a maximum 9,000kg payload, new technology engines, glass cockpit and sophisticated avionics and sensors. The ATL1, selected as the Nato long-range maritime patrol aircraft, entered service in 1966 and remains in service with the German, Italian and Pakistani Navies. The Atlantique ATL2 has been in service with the French Navy since 1989. Source

One thing is must say its not necessary that it's chinese so it is dull or something that most of the guy's mention that ok it
should be bought once its matured.maybe it is already lot sophisticated or something...

. .
The tail houses a Magnatic Anamoly Detector (MAD) that needs to be housed away from the metal body of the a/c for proper detection to happen. Therefore, almost all ASW/MPA a/c's would have this "Sting" on their tails.

. .
only if this chinese system is superiror to our P 3c only than we should think for this other wise big NO
yeah After that BigNO we will beg americans for pc3?????and give them money and wait for 10 years for delivery and in the end americans will tell us we will not deliver it because u r terrorist??where else u want to get it from some aliens in mars?or change ur PIA for this role?

.
I mean again, why Chinese copy PC3 styles from US? Can't they create own creatives something new?
It is not a copy, it - the airframe - is a chinese development based on the Y8 transport, which in turn is a straight unlicenced Chinese copy of the Soviet Russian An-12BP tactical airlifter (C-130 Herculas equivalent). If you refer to the armaments/sensors fit for ASW/ASuW/MP, then by your reasoning ANY maritime patrol aircraft would be a copy of P3C.

It looks good enough but we have to keep in mind that the P-3C has a long and distinguished service record to boast, any contemporary will find itself with some pretty big shoes to fill.

wots these cables..running from tail to fuselage.....lightening protection ?????

. .
more importantly wots the endurance time ......

Broadly comparable but possibly still less than P-3C Orion, I would think considering the following ferry ranges (i.e. one-way range, typically on max fuel, not necessarily max load):

Antonov AN-10 transport: 4,075km
Antonov AN-12 transport: 5,700km (3,600km w max load)
Shaanxi Y-8 transport: 5,250-5,615km depending on source (variant?)
Shaanxi Y-9 transport: 7,800km

In 2001 and 2002, consulting between Antonov and Shaanxi resulted in modernized redesigns of the Y-8's wing and fuselage. As a consequence the Y-8's fuel capacity was increased by 50 percent. The new Y-9, originally known as the Y-8X, is basically a stretched version of the Y-8F-200. It likely has the aforementioned larger fuel capacity and hence a longer range that is said to be comparable to Lockheed C-130J
(note: given ambiguities about the Y-8 range, it may not be automatic that 50% more fuel translates to 50% more range. Y-8 ranges found multiplied by 1.5 yield 7,875-8,423km)

Lockheed C-130J Hercules: 7,400km
Lockheed L-100 Hercules: 8,950km (civilian stretched version)

By comparison, for the Lockheed Electra/Orion/Aries/Aurora:

Lockheed L-188 Electra: 8,910 km (< payload 7,938 kg: max load range > 7,080km)
USN EP-3A/B/E ARIES: 8,800 km
USN/USCG P-3c Orion: 8,945km (= operational mission at 2494 km, plus 3 hours on station)
US NOAA WP-3D/RAAF AP-3C: 9,000km
RCAF CP-14 Aurora mpa: 9,300km

Other comparisons:
Transall C-160 tranport: 8,858km
Breguet Atlantic II mpa: 9,075km
BAE Nimrod MR1/MR2 mpa: 8,340–9,265km
IL-38 mpa: 9,500km
Tu-95 Bear: 12,550km (strategic bomber)
Tu-95MS Bear-H: 15,000km (cruise missile carrier platform based on the Tu-142 airframe)
Tu-142M3 Bear-F MPA: 6,500 km combat radius (i.e. mission/operational)
