Oh yes they completely surprised and took down the united states carrier lincoln in excercises. That was a good surprise for americans . there are pilots who do emphasis on element of surprise and not leakimg such tactics in peace time excercises.

I think india will not use their only carrier for war as it will be sinked and when they send mig21 it seems they have no courage to use expensive weapon they may be moving it away from range of our missiles and planning to attack karachi using submarines and other ships to avoid sinking of their only carrier in response of Paf and Pak navy

But you ignore the immense joy to be had by bursting the Indian bubble.
Did you forget the elation felt all over the world when Pakistan exposed the Indian bluff by downing their so called INVINCIBLE AIR FORCE jets.

We are all SO TIRED of hearing Indian chest beating of their superior AIR FORCE.
Now may be the time to do the same for their decrepit Superior Navy.

What is the strategic importance of sending an airport from south ? MKI's don;t have the range to vector south and then come up north to karachi ?

The red line represents the approximate location of the boundary between Pakistan and India. The Pakistan ships can be very well stationed just inside Pakistan's sea boundary. Meaning the approximate distance between Pakistan ships and this Carrier would be around 300 KMs. This also means that with proper assets deployed at the sea, the PN ships would be able to pick up any missiles fired by IN, and that will invoke an immediate retaliation.
I have said in another thread, if this news is true and IN's Carrier is on its way, then it is walking right into a trap.

Only logical reason for deploying ACC is to support IN ships in blockade or try to hit Pasni or Gawadar.
