The thing was I started off by telling one of the pakistani members that this isnt something we should take sides in and these people attacked me like a flock of vultures

Groupthink types expect/demand others to be pure groupthink types too. Otherwise you simply are not who you claim to be....because they cannot comprehend what true diversity of opinion is. You must fully subscribe to some form of identity politics and forego logic and genuine debate....or you simply are some nefarious agent.

Some countries/societies have this hive mind complex more than others. Stereotypes regarding them this way don't come out of thin air.

By that logic China can claim the entire pacific ocean as nobody claims it as theirs. There is law of seas and Ocean which allow EEZ for every country. China is in violation of it by claiming entire South China sea because their ancestors were fishing in those parts. Watta logic.

Err no. China claim and control the only feature in the Spartly that can be classified as an island which is Taiping Island. And according to UNCLOS eligible to claim 200km EEZ. Almost 90% of all the Spartly features falls within this EEZ. All of China's reclaim islands also fall within this EEZ. All logical and within UNCLOS.

Western media and agencies are hoping that Chinese loose patience with protesters and use excessive force
this is why West instructed the protesters to become more outrageous and become violent too. they have attacked the parliament and ransacked public and private property

instead of using force to disperse the protesters I have a novel suggestion
announce a week long or a month long festival at the place of protests. celebrate the Chinese Hong Kong union
since the 80s, celebrate the culture and the achievements, dance music, food sports and fireworks.

let the disruptive and foreign paid pests drown in the noise of music and celebration.

I am reading British News papers and following news on Hong Kong they are presenting it as an apocalypse
beat them in their game and restore order without using force.

Maybe Xinjiang situation is not ideal, but it is not open genocide like in other countries like Israel, Palestine, Kashmir, Burma, Central African Republic, Afghanistan.

When posts like that are made that attack my rights in both the pakistani constitution and the Canadian one, I have to respond. What do they think this is? The CPR propaganda fourm? Look at how passive aggressive he's being in the posts later on. Commending other posts by pakistani while snubbing me. If they dont like freedom of speach then they shouldn't be on a free forum. Also look at where he is sitting. From the states of all places

Freedom of speech comes with responsibility as well....you are free to exercise it but with the burden of being responsible.
