What's new

Chinese bomber exercise affirms air-defence identification zone, penetrates Second Island Chain

Mmm, small warheads can't do much, you know. plus, slow speed. plus high altitude launch
why are you laughing at the Tomahawk of US?

BTW, if one day Vietnam could develop its own CJ10 missiles, I guess you will brag it to be the most powerful stuff on the world!

No. you pull that idea out of your mind.
Tell me about CJ-10 payload.

Tomahawk doesn't need high altitude launch.
=============
Agree that make an add: H6K range + CJxx range = extended range in exercise. Sound better than before.
But it's impractical in actual war.
Enemy could easily intercept the flight of slow H6K, especially when they have no escort.

And limited ammunition they could bring is less meaningful.

you mean B52 or B1 cannot launch Tomahawk?

I mean Tomahawk could be launched by submarines.
B-52 would launch 20x ALCM AGM-86 with warhead weight 1000-1500 kgs.

therefore the Tomahawk from B1 and B52 are completely useless?

not useless because they could bring a lot of them.
but the best tomahawk launcher is Ohio class SSGN submarine
154x Tomahawk for single sub

China need 26 H6K to bring the same quantity.

each H6K could bring 6 CJ10s, so 26 H6Ks could bring 156 CJ10s, slightly more than Ohio.

Ohio costs 3 billion USD per unit, or 18 billion Chinese Yuan. Assume each H6K costs CNY 200 million, 26 H6Ks costs us 5.2 billion CNY, or 18 billion CNY could bring us 90 H6Ks, or 540 missiles capability (almost 4x of Ohio)! According to your theory, the more missiles, the more powerful!

Only 8 H6K operations in ECS caused the attention of everyone. 90 H6K ? LOL
Those are easy preys for air fighters. You need all J-11xx to cover them

Submarines are silent killers.
Ohio-class
Virginial-class
AB Destroyers
...
all bringing thousand Tomahawk missiles nearby.

8 H6K joined in the excise doesn't mean China only has 8 H6K. Hard to understand this?

Given the range of the missiles, H6K could attack Japan from the air of the inner-land of China, who cares if it's a silent killer or not??

1. you don't understand my simple sentence
2. all the way for attacking Japan? no, second islands chain is for another implication.

No one know and blame the 4x US Ohio SSGN with more than 600x Tomahawk operating in SCS, ECS ... But 90 H-6K take off aiming to Guam would be responded by nuclear strike.

Remember Pearl Harbour ?

I never said China would take off 90H6K to attack Guam. I just show you a quick math that to match the same investment on Ohio, how much China could gain from H6K. And the answer is although investment ratio is 1:1, but the missile-carried difference is 1 (Ohio):4 (H6K). According to your theory, the more missiles carried, the more powerful!

Come on , it is you that keeping post the BS that Japan Airforce could easily beat China Airforce via its grandpa F15J.
BTW, you haven't answered my question yet: do you dare to drive a F15J-alike car? A car that will lose some parts to ground while driving. Do you dare to drive such a car?

who said F-15J is not safe ?
I know that US Ohio could attack main land, while H-6K is hard to attack even Guam,

You obviously only believe what you want to believe. If you want to fully deny the facts that the F15J fleet is too old and lacking of proper maintainance, that's fine, I don't mind it.

The more missiles carried, the more powerful the weapons. That's the theory you put on this thread, not me!

No one believed in the poor maintenance by Japanese. But you guy, Chinese

You'd better pray that the frequent component-falling issues of the F15J is caused by bad maintainance. Otherwise it will make people feel doubtful on the real capabilities of the Japanese.

Let me post you the Japanese news on the consecutive parts falling incidents of F15J again. But I guess you will still be blind to it. Because fact is too cruel to you.

Tell me more on that. It's very interesting.
I don't outrate the F15J, but I think if F15J can't intercept some slow bombers cross the Miyako strait, they are crappy.
I read that Japan deployed 40x F15J to Naha
