These cars look like replicas.One of the car (a60), just looks like AUDI A6.
Its hard to believe that its a 'state-owned' company.
Anyways, competition is always good for consumers.

To enter Pakistani market, they have to fill bellies of big crocs and after that they could not sell their autos at current prices.
Hopefully they know how things work in Pakistan.

I think that's why they are choosing Gwadar as their main manufacturing centre. Since the Chinese have a 43year lease in that area, the Pakistani auto mafia can't touch them.... They will use that region as a spring board. Good strategy on the oart of the Chinese manufactures...

I say Pak extend the lease to a 100 years... so no retarded Pak mafia can touch them.

Let them throw their Products in the Pakistani Market. If people start getting good quality even its Chinese in the same price tag as Mehran they will buy the one which have good features.

Look at the Mobile Market for instance, people buy cheaper Chinese Mobiles because they have those features which they want but can't afford if they look them in other brands like Samsung, Motorola, Nokia, Apple etc.....

Everyone here only discuss price with reference to their price at other country. For price conversation they should multiply prices with three to get the price in which these cars will be available for consumers. I don't want to involve in calculations but that's how things work in Pakistan.

If you have looked at the initial column you will see that their price tags are quoted in PKR. As they already have an official dealer in Pakistan which is selling their products already in our market.
Its cheapest Car will come within a price tag of 7 Lacs. which will feature Euro 4 engine tech, Power staring, Air bags and etc. All these you won't find in Mehran and even old Cultus

On my way to office I daily see many New Oil Tankers trucks of JAC company which tells the story that even before arriving here they had gotten their foot marks already on our soil.

For our population with the buying power, these would be a great choice at these price points. I'd buy one over a second hand Civic or a new Suzuki any day. Heck, Corolla is a good car but the A60 would be my choice over it.

Civic and Corolla need to be put in their place and these Jap manufacturers need to be brought down to earth. Too much arrogance just selling run of mill civics and corollas.
