Chinese aircraft maker delivers 23 trainers to overseas users in one month - People's Daily Online October 19, 2010
China's K-8W trainer exported to Venezuela.
HONGDU Aviation Industry Group LTD. of AVIC (Aviation Industry Corporation of China) delivered 23 K-8 aircrafts to overseas customers in recent days, which laid a good foundation for overseas users to buy K-8 planes.
It is a huge backbone enterprise subordinated to the Aviation Industry Corporation of Chin.
On Oct. 13, the company delivered 11 K-8P aircraft to the Pakistani air force, which is the last batch of Pakistan's procurement.
Before this, the company also delivered 12 K-8W planes to its customers at an air force base in South America on Sept. 24. It is the second batch of the order list.
Up to now, a total of more than 270 K-8 aircraft have been delivered to overseas users, accounting for more than 70 percent of the global mid-level trainer market share.
