They could have used a better camera - doesnt look like an aircraft carrier from any angle....other than the supposed ski jump - but then why is it resting on a pillar and why is it hollow?

It is not carrier i think... Look the Front end and other end.. in the 4th pic we can get...

doubt it, it is way too soon to start thinking of future carriers.

At present our fighters can reach all of disputed countries without carriers, so holding off until ready with the program is ideal.

We don't have a strong enough fleet to protect and assist a true carrier battle group anyways. Not if they are to operate far from our own shores.

Maybe after Type 55 becomes a reality, as well as a host of other ships starts to become operational.
