What's new

China's Tech is overtaking the world

Everything in the US is based on European culture. There's nothing American. See? Two can play this game.
america does not deny its western roots

the day they start naming equations and fundamentals under names of chinese scientists is when u can say “chinese technology”

so far only thing came out of china is “china virus”

theres nothing chinese in chinas technologies
everything in china is based on western ip
including the way they dress, run their institutions, and their communist ideology

only thing chinese about china is their genes and masochism for suffering
Are you such a fool ?

USA, which is not a western country, copied German technology, and UK technology before that. USA didn't invent anything until it stole everything before 1950. Even UK another non-western country, stole Polish codebreaking from Europe. Europeans never should have cooperated with outsiders and your comment proves it.

Chinese invented "arabic" number system

The retired National University of Singapore mathematics professor, Dr Lam Lay Yong, 66, has crushed the long-held belief that the Arabs and Indians invented the numeral system used today. In fact, they came up only with the written symbols, says Dr Lam, who believes the Chinese invented the numeral system and were adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing at least 1,000 years before anyone else, with simple bamboo rods.

The rods were readily available to foreigners. The system was picked up by traders and travelers on the Silk Road during the Tang Dynasty, between the 5th and 9th century. The earliest known text on arithmetic based on the current Hindu-Arabic numerical system was written by an Arab, Muhammad Musa al-Khwarizmi, in AD 825, but the earliest Chinese treatise on the rod numerals and procedures for multiplication and division - the sun zi suanjing - "Nine Chapters of the Mathematical Art" was written in China about the similar rod-based concept some 700 years earlier.

When Dr Lam compared the procedures in both, she found, to her astonishment, that they were identical. "They could not have developed the same systems by sheer coincidence". The research work has taken 30 years.

Ms Lam will be presented with one of the highest accolades in her field, the Kenneth O. May medal from the IHCM at a mathematics congress in Beijing in August 2002.

Check the dates in this.

It is older than Arabic numerals and Chinese rods

The only meaningful and impactful exports of US are wars and death.

Go kill Palestinian children. You are better at this.

Tell us which countries use China's 5G technology

These countries have restrictions
Australia
EU
Canada
India
Japan
NZ
South Korea
Taiwan
UAE
All! Except for Taiwan Province. All these countries use China 5G! Until Americans realized that it could not defeat Huawei. Force them to ban Huawei.

And you lost the game.

It is true that ideas move when people move and take their cultures with them. So far, China have been building what others designed. There is nothing wrong with that. But that does not mean China have been advancing technology in general. In some areas, such as supercomputers, China have gotten ahead, but then the US regained their leadership position. Then it goes back and forth. True innovation and advancing the technology would be if China create a new computer architecture, whatever it could be, and keep the lead.

Am an Air Force guy, so I will use aviation. What have Chinese aviation done other than essentially copied Western aviation with the C929? None, and there is nothing wrong with that. China is still young in aviation and with the C929, China done more than well. But if China want to actually lead in aviation, considering that China has practically no civil aviation compares to the US, not likely that China will contribute to aviation in general.

You want to see how much China has to catch up with the US in terms of general aviation?

We are looking at several hundred thousands private pilots. Myself, I learned how to fly in high school before joining the USAF. You are looking at a pool of innovation in aviation that China do not have, and as long as Chinese airspace remains under military control, will never have.

Aviation is just one area under the general 'technology' heading. China's tech is taking over the world? That is a laugh. More like China's products is all over the world. And that is all there is. :enjoy:
You cry everywhere like an Indian pariah.

Genius, you should request the Kenneth O. May to retract the medal from Dr Lam based on your FARTS.

Kenneth O. May Prize and Medal in history of mathematics is an award of the International Commission on the History of Mathematics (ICHM)

Chinese Invented Number System: Singapore Researcher
A Singapore researcher has crushed the long-held belief that the Arabs and Indians invented the numeral system used today, according to a report carried by the Straits Times Thursday.
Said Dr Lam, who recently won the Kenneth O. May medal, the highest honour for contributions to the history of mathematics: 'The ancient Chinese invented a notation such that with the knowledge of only nine signs, any number could be expressed. Without this, they would not have been able to develop mathematics.'

And the rods were readily available to foreigners, she said. The system was picked up by traders and travellers on the Silk Road during the Tang Dynasty, between the 5th and 9th century.

The earliest known text on arithmetic based on the current number system was written by an Arab in AD 825, but the earliest Chinese treatise on the rod numerals and procedures for multiplication and division - the sun zi suanjing - was written about 425 years earlier.

When Dr Lam compared the procedures in both, she found, to her astonishment, that they were identical. 'They could not have developed the same systems by sheer coincidence,' said the mother of three.

Who invented the plane again?
Who invented color photography?
Who invented the lightbulb?
Who invented radar and the microwave oven?
Who invented the telephone?
Who invented the recordplayer?
Who invented refrigeration?
Who invented air conditioning?
Who invented the electric generator?
Who invented the transistor?
Who invented television?

..etc.....

So big mouth what exactly was your country and people inventing back then? A thicker harness for an oxen train?
