Australia is renting 5 secondhand Virginia class starting in 2030's, and eventually will procure up to 12 by 2040's. Add that on top of USN's submarine fleet, China can expect to face up to 50 SSN in the Western Pacific.

It's time to accelerate construction of 095 class, and invest in a fleet of underwater unmanned attack drones.
