China's political system is more flexible than US democracy

No. As always, you guess is wrong. You really have to study more, kiddo, perhaps attempt to acquire another East Asia language such as Chinese. Or maybe you have to see a doctor for your bipolar disorder: not white doesn't mean black. BWT, more age doesn’t mean more knowledge. Knowledge wise, you are still “kiddo”.

There are a lot worms in Chinese system/corporate. The good part is once a bad guy is exposed, he/she is punished. And often the punishment is severe.

But not many got/get punished either in US 1932 depression or in 2008 crisis. Bankers in jail: Did we punish anyone for causing the 1929 stock market crash? - Slate Magazine

Instead, after 2008 crisis, bankers are fattened great deal because of the crisis. That is where the problem is.

I just learned there is no need to argue with gambit. In his black and white world everything is black or white, no nuances.

In order to punish anyone, he has to be convicted of a crime. The definition of a crime cannot be defined unless there is a law that prohibit a behavior. So if China punishes a lot of corrupt officials, that is good, but did those punishments came from the laws? If yes, then it is also good. For the US, until bankers or traders or politicians are convicted of a crime, there is nothing anyone can do. I know you pine for a dictatorship, preferably with you on top, of course, but this is still about the rule of law.

Still, your argument does not solve the problem with China's SOEs are heavily invested, controlled, and/or influenced by elite Party and military members whose political powers shield them from be prosecuted by the same laws they so quickly heap upon others as sacrificial lambs.

You are the drop-out!

So obvious...

Were there any 'Americans' back when the first European colonists dropped in on the New World? Simple question.

Of course you get what you deserve whether its free or not, I put that sentence there just to remind readers that don't simply assume the free press in US is automatically better than press in China. That was actually talking about CNN, and don't even get me started with Foxnews (as bad if not worse than CCTV). At least, in my opinion, the media in US today is not serving up to its standard as one of the three pillars for a healthy democracy.
I guess Bill Clinton or Richard Nixon exposed were minor stories.

I generally find this to be common among those who are surprised to find an American who can challenge their arguments.

really ? why some chinese have dark skin?
you mean black?

anyway i am curious : how is it possible to become chinese? mariage?

i worked a time with a country that is very very friendly with your country: emirates.
you can not become emirati . and i am sure they are much more racist than chinese. but they are your friend so nothing to criticize right?
Chinese racism against blacks are well known. The rest of Asia are no better in Chinese eyes. We are the 'inferior' Asian races.

This guy is a China hater, because Vietnam learnt communism from China (per his knowledge) and Viet Com ruined his life back in Vietnam, so he devoted his life to US army in an attempt to occupy VN to regain his paradise of the past.

But his wet-dream dashed into null as US dropped Agent_Orange but China helped the people of VN to defeat US army.

Yet, he refused to see the sea change of the world. He still nurtures the age-old hatred, even though his salary from the army may well be paid off Chinese bank roll.

Be judicious about his sanity whenever he comments on communism or China…

Whereas your slavery mentality conveniently leads you into an amnesia that West used democracy forces to plunge and ruin India and China to lift West out of their economic sh1thole, and to dominate the world, including wipe off clean Native Indians in America.
Complain that the to Europeans. Keep in mind the US never had any colonial interests in China.

 It is so funny to see you speaking of 'wet dreams' considering your still yearning for a communist paradise despite the obvious.

If they want to, why can't they? which government in the world, democratic or one party system, can stop 1.3 billion people?
but since we are doing much better than the great democratic india, I guess we don't have to.

Bahadur....Did any one asked you to compare ur communist govt. with any one... Why don't you give ur valuable advice to near dear Pakistan.

lol, hello sir
First of all, india is the only country that have the most similar conditions to compare with China while this thread is about comparing China's system with democratic ones, I don't see why it is not a valid comparison.
We respect Pakistan's choice of their governing system, just like we respect indians'.

Ok, let’s read how rule by law was, in one of many real instances.

Excerpt from <LIARS, TRAITORS, AND SPIES> by Brant T. Lee, Assistant Professor of Law, University of Akron School of Law. B.A., University of California, Berkeley; J.D. Harvard Law School; M.P.P. John F. Kennedy School ofGovernment, Harvard University:
In 1854, the California Supreme Court was faced with a white defendant who had been
convicted of murder based on the testimony of Chinese witnesses.15 There was a statute that
said, “No Black, or Mulatto person, or Indian, shall be allowed to give evidence in favor of, or
against a white man.” The court first argued that Chinese were Indians because Columbus
thought he landed in India. Moreover, scientists thought Native Americans had crossed over at
some time from Asia, so Indian must be a generic term for all Asians. Then the court argued
that Black could be a generic term for anybody who was not white. Finally the court just threw
up its hands and said that as a matter of public policy, if we admitted their testimony, we would
have to “admit them to all the equal rights of citizenship, and we might soon see them at the
polls, in the jury box, upon the bench, in our legislative halls…. This is not a speculation…but
it is an actual and present danger.”

Goldman Sachs CEO testified in congress that all GS did in cheating, as questioned by Congress, was nothing but a market maker would do.

That is rule by the law when bankers make the law and everybody else obeys the law of bankers.

 It is so funny to see you speaking of 'wet dreams' considering your still yearning for a communist paradise despite the obvious.

The obvious was the most powerful democracy borrows money from communism.

If that isn't obvious enough, you must be blinded, mentally and physically.

The biggest scam has been the asset backed products. The banks originated the loans and then package them to sell it to some other institutions. These allowed the bank to lend to anybody as the banks were going to sell the mortgage off. The $80-100 billion tarp bailout of AIG was to take the toxic asset off these casino banks.

Seems like the commies understand business better than the wall street and their fanboys. One should not lend $200k to a guy making $40k a year, even a commie or a freshman finance major student knows that.

VN-China know clearly that : our bank Can Not rob money from people, so we must think carefuly before lending money to some one, but Wall st is diffrent, they have that Right, they can rob people money base on their Mafia Laws , and people have to accept it.

They forgot what Marx perdict, and now, Wall st have to pay for it :)

I thought I may take a chance to educate you on this . There is always going to be borrowers and the more sucessful nations borrow vs printing money. The democracies are the ones that you want to typically loan to. It's a fact China rather lend ot the US vs. lending that money internally speaks volumes. The notes we sell we get at a low low 2% or less...

Btw- I can't for the love of god figure out - why with so much hate for my country, its vaules, its democracy you still live off it? Is it because of that infamous character trait that is well known about your group?

Ah...No...If you actually READ your source and do a bit of critical thinking, you will find that in no way does a temporary military expedition qualifies as setting a colony. So try again and show everyone where was the American colonial interest in mainland China.

Ah...No...Keep in mind that all the Chinese boys here averred that China is no longer a 'pinko commie' country. But if you want for this instance that China is still a communist country, your argument still failed spectacularly in that we do not borrow from 'communism' but from China. We do not borrow from North Korea, Cuba, Viet Nam, nor Laos, pretty much the remnants of a failed ideology that you still clings to. And China still depends on US for growth.

I suspect that there is a strong racial component to his hatred. The man is confused, conflicted, lost, and a coward. Like today's communists, he does not have the courage to live under the system he wish to impose upon everyone else.
