We seldom brag, I can't say they are no braggards, but on average, our culture despises bragging and boasting. If an Admiral said we have this xxx and that xxx, there is almost 90% chance it will happen. You can see this in J-20, Y-20, EMALS, and railguns and recently WS-10B engines.

But slayer will link China announcing some achievement as bragging... While some countries shamelessly make things up will claim as normal.

China shall not tell the world that China economy is 2nd largest in the world.

China shall not also tell the world that it has the world fastest supercomputer.

If China tells the truth. China is bragging... China need to tell the world, it is the world poorest country and worst technology country. Cos denial will make slayer feels better. Slayer will take whatever means to manipulate others thinking to suit their agenda by try linking announcing a technology achievement as bragging to justify their inferiority of being left behind by China speed.

Hi all
In my humble opinion, this missile is of no or little use until the launch platforms we have are safe from the offensive/defensive weapons of the indian navy. We are killing aircraft carrier and destroyers not keeping in mind there ability to defend themselves and the capability to attack the launch platforms we have in our fleet. We must not underestimate our enemy rather we have to add assets on surface which can attack the enemy and defend themselves against a powerful enemy. Thanks

Pakistan should "jointly develop" a supersonic missile with China "based on YJ12"(*cough* get the exact same thing *cough*). Just like how India got Brahmos(P800 Oniks). Then Pakistan can "further develop" that missile "by itself" to have a longer range...taking the same route as Brahmos. Since Pakistan will "develop" it by itself, the range limit(imposed by international treaties) wouldn't apply. The missile can then be revealed at an appropriate time. It would be a major boost to Pak forces against the massive Indian Navy.

I believe, You do not need to care for the range limit, coz neither China nor Pakistan is a signatory of MTCR..
