China's H-6K bombers fly beyond the First Island Chain

Multiple types of aircraft of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force flew over the Western Pacific, reaching 1,000 km beyond the First Island Chain for training on Aug. 14, 2015. The drill was in line with international laws and practice without targeting at any particular countries, regions or targets.

You are so funny.The range of H-6K is 6000km and this plane can carry six "CJ-10A" cruise missiles which has 2500km range.I think you should worry about Hawaii when it fly through the first island chain.

B52 has bigger load and longer range than H6K..
The major function of H6K will be firing cruise missile and anti-ship missile.
While B52 has more function like conventional bombing but not anti-ship.

The purpose of B2 is to hunt USSR ICBM launcher within USSR territory without fighter escort ...
If you are only to fire long distance cruise missiles outside air defense zone, B52 may be better as it can carry more...

Be noted that strategic of China is not military competition with US and its allies.
USSR has proven it is wrong.
China is now preparing for minimum defense power against potential US invasion.
If China has the capacity to block US out of first island chain, that is pretty enough.
Globally China has no interest nor capacity to challenge US on miltary.
We welcome US to be the 'world police' while we prefer to be a 'free rider'.
