the roads and conditions were terrible in Tibet back in 1971,not even one rail even close to Tibet.all the roads leading to Tibet were seasonally open,would be closed in winter and that war broke out in winter,It took China months to transport and deploy troops and resources.if it happens today,China can be fully in readiness in 2 weeks with the help of world class highways,airports and railways.China just lost that chance to take Sikkim.India should thank your ally USSR's KGB for giving you that information.and you were just to quick to slam on the brake in that war.
