China's GDP reaches $9.3 trillion in 2013

lol I have always wanted to live in China. But seeing how it is with your rules and attitude of Chinese posters dont think I will have a good time there. YOU guys seem more racist than us.

There are plenty of Indians jumping the border and coming to China to have a better life.

So just a few Chinese posters on PDF is representative of all Chinese?

Nice logic!

Btw, I dislike anyone that talk crap about China so we fire back in no uncertain terms. Since westerners dislike us the most, the feeling is mutual.

Rightfully that place belongs to India as India is about to have the world's largest population. :p Yes India was the world's largest economy along with China for centuries.
But yes for now only China is the one that is practically moving forward to reclaim that position.

Sorry but there was no such thing as 'India' back centuries ago.

I seriously doubt that.

Do you know how many Indians live in HK and other parts of China?

Do they get attacked and murdered on a regular basis? By the Triads or other gangs? No, we leave them alone.

But you can't say the same for Northeast Indians, who have been all over the news recently for being attacked by other Indians, murdered and raped.

It's true that there is plenty of racism in Chinese society, same as any other country. But that has nothing to do with my stance against immigration, which is all about practicality not ideology.

I agree with you Western Nations only opened their doors to immigration because a lot of the specialists in undeveloped nations were sitting around with nothing to do anyway so it benefited to give them jobs over here. Meanwhile in China you will probably never have a lack of specialists just based on the sheer size of your population, all you need to do is continuously provide education opportunities to accommodate the large population. As for unskilled job workers you can always find those workers from the western parts of China which if I am not wrong is still not as developed as Eastern China.

Either way the growth is amazing and there is still lots of room to grow all things considered, imo Pakistan should have asked China for economic advisers or something years ago.

I hope China don't accept them or else the Chinese IQ will decrease in the future.

How is India going to have the worlds largest population? China scrapped the one child policy recently. :P

I understand the practicality. Hongkong which is developed is open to immigrants even when it is part of China. But look at the other Chinese posters like this bolo and beiduo. HOw do you explain their posts and still say Chinese aren't racists.

Nor was there any PRC.

India (or Bharat Varsha or Aryavarta) has been there since eternity. No ignorant voices on internet is going to change the reality.

China has a lot of racism, that doesn't mean all Chinese are racists. Much of it is simple misunderstanding, I know from personal experience that many Chinese have a fascination with other races and cultures, including the minorities in China itself.

As for the opinions of Beidou and Bolo, if you want to know more you should probably ask them.

The opinions being given are more a phenomenon of PDF, I have never seen any Chinese in real life talking about IQ as a means of showing superiority, possibly because it doesn't make logical sense. Obviously, the only thing that can be "proved" with an IQ test is how good someone is at taking IQ tests. This phenomenon is limited to PDF and other places on the internet, as a method of flaming or counter-flaming.

And allowing immigration doesn't mean less racism. As a Hong Konger myself, I can say for certain that Hong Kongers are more racist to non-Chinese than Mainlanders are, because Mainlanders have more experience with Chinese minorities while HK is almost entirely Han.

HK is not an immigrant friendly place. Most westerners are visa holders. There ain't no free hand out unlike the West. And frankly, I do not care if people call me a racist. If being pro Chinese is racist, so be it.

This is true.

The foreigners you see in Hong Kong, they are there on temporary visas.

We don't give out Chinese citizenship easily, even getting "residency" in HK is extremely difficult for a non-Chinese citizen, you either need to be very highly skilled, or you need to invest over $1.3 million USD in our markets. And even then you will only get residency, not citizenship.

yes, Like I said to Liall in my previous post there is very little welfare in HK. You work to live. The west is suited for most people.

I forgot to mention that China doesn't recognize dual citizenship, so I doubt most peple are willing to give up their current citizenship status to live in a country with different culture and language.

Yep. That is a great policy I think. :D

Well lets leave that discussion for some other time, not the right place and time. Anyways I was talking about regional GDP not a specific country.

Once population starts to age, it is extremely strenous to put it back on the growth trajectory. It happens over decades not some years. Most countries that tried to increase their population have either failed or are partially successfull. So yes India will over take China in absolute population, there is no doubt about that. But, China remains the biggest economy in the forseable future.

Well, all the wealth in the world is nothing before a human life.

So we will be the richest country after all. ;)
