Before you panic, though, consider the many caveats RAND sneaks into the study — especially in the footnotes.

In light of how close the Chinese and Taiwanese economies have grown in the last decade, a Chinese invasion would amount to Beijing “shooting itself in the foot.” “China’s IT sector, in particular, could be devastated.” Never mind that the U.S. and Chinese economies are also irrevocably interdependent.

Till 30 years ago China was behind India in number of roads, railways and even rate of growth.

If China can speed up due to dictatorship then slowly but steady India can archive its rightful position.

As ur CPC government was behind India's growth for first 30 years and ahead in last 30 years the scenario will be very different in near future.

You logic implies that China can speed up in 30 years way ahead of India but will slow down and let India catch up..something is not right either with your logic nor with your grey matter!
