China Will help Pakistan In developing ICBM

In India 2030, if you have not seen, whites are servants and Indians are masters.

Yes, but it require a British guy to reaffirm that India has so many white servants.

India all set to help Vietnam and Taiwan in their missile programs.

I'm sure Vietnam or Taiwan don't need ICBM or wanting to be a superpower. Both countries want prosperity and jobs, not white servants or becoming a superpower.

Too much Pak reliance on China is not good for the future development of the nation. Country needs to try to become self reliant.

I am not getting it how is it anything to do with India if Pakistan does develop ICBM...Like Agni 5 has nothing to do with Pakistan their ICBM will have nothing to do with us....In fact as an adversary i would pray that they do come up with ICBM's...Ever growing nuclear arsenal with BM to target Europe/US is gonna be a self goal of epic level for Pakistan....

no one is going to use a nuke.
everyone should stop wasting taxpayers money and build better healthcare infrastucture

If it hadn't been for China, the Pakistani race would have suffered a fate FAR FAR worst than that of the Jews of Nazi Germany or the Red Indians of the Americas. Our unique beautiful race would cease to exist.

Although I agree in 100% indigenous self-sufficiency, it is a long and difficult feat to achieve. We need Chinese assistance to reach that goal which WE ARE doing albeit slowly. The ONLY NATIONS so far capable of this are the West, Russia, China & Japan. ALL OTHER nations are far behind. Using the advanced sciences, technologies, equipment, means and expertise produced by OTHERS to get ahead does NOT count as self-sufficiency but living off the backs of others.

Pakistan will EVENTUALLY get to that stage but probably not in our lifetime. We need to be patient.

Why does Pakistan need an ICBM though? It can already target all of India.

Also if Pakistan develops one, it will bring unwarranted attention to their nuclear program from the countries that will be in their ICBM's range. Just to compete with India, Pakistan will shoot itself in the foot.

Also if this move is to scare India, lol this hardly affects India because a) India's S400 missile air defense system will checkmate Pakistani missiles b) Pakistan already have whole of India covered with their current missile program. So who is this ICBM going to deter?

Classic ghosting manoeuvre.

Pakistan has no desire to build an ICBM. Weapon systems are developed based on threat perception, and Pakistan only faces an existential threat from India. To target India, Pakistan does not require an ICBM. Pakistan has the required Missiles to cover all of India, and that is all that matters.

Development of ICBM's will result in sanctions from Europe and the US. This is something that Pakistan cannot afford, and this is why i strongly believe Pakistan will not develop an ICBM. One only has to look at the posturing and warfighting manoeuvres of the SPD. There are no signs of the development of an ICBM, underground ballistic missiles yes but no posturing for an ICBM. Fight as you train, and train as you fight.

Well US has already sanctioned Pakistan or at least begun doing so. More shall be expected. US is the only country to threaten to bomb us back to stone age and while India does not possess such capability, US certainly does. So imo the existential threat is not from India but US of A. India knows it will be destroyed in the process but US knows they can do without any repercussions. So saying Pakistan does not need an ICMB is ill founded and something that will haunt us in the future, specially with fast changing geopolitical scenario.
India can now strike UK as well, no body heard the Brits complaining. In our case yes there will be noises and eye brows raised but they will learn to live with it as they did with our nuclear program.

Absolutely wrong...When US threatened you of bombing what was the reason behind it?? Apart from threats from terrorist there is nothing from Pakistan that hurts US interests...and thus there is no existential threat from them....The biggest threat you have is the terrorists in your own backyard...At geo-political level your arch rival India is your existential threat and you have enough nukes to keep India at arms distance...so honestly instead of making some more enemies it would be better to improve Pakistan as a society....

Maybe but when it comes to national security, even if their is a 0.1% chance of happening you take necessary action to counter it. As for the reasons what makes you think such reasons can never arise again under one pretext or another? We supported Taliban so did the USA but US had the option to leave and they left while Pakistan was left to deal with the mess.
US interests are far from just economical. US sees India as a counter weight to growing Chinese influence in the region but there is a problem......Pakistan and hence conflict of interests. With Pakistan out of the equation India can solely focus on China but India cannot take out Pakistan alone not without getting damaged to a point of no return. But US can and with impunity if i may say so.
Besides if i take your argument at its face value and agree that there is nothing from Pakistan that hurts the US interests than what is there for the US to fear? absolutely nothing...No?

Even US doesn't want Pakistan out of context...and no sir if we go by 0.1% chance then every country in the world needs to have ICBM's....And it is a myth that only ICBM's are good enough....If your threat perception includes US then you need hell lot of military toys then mere ICBM's.....from Indian POV a Pakistani ICBM is a good tool to show the world that now even they are in range of Pakistani nukes....so as far as are concerned we would love to see that happening...however strategist in Pakistan are not fools...so i will say it is a wishful thinking...

Just as indian missiles don't affect Pakistan as we will be getting advanced variants(if we havn't already done so) of HQ-9 and other ABM and air defence systems. Especially in light of the fact that key Chinese strategic assets are now scattered all OVER Pakistan due to CPEC. Therefore we have fully nullified the indian conventional and missile threat. That's why india was so powerless to attack Pakistan after mumbai 2008 even though india is at least 7x bigger than us and has abundant access to the world's most advanced weapons systems whilst we are denied this privilege :D

OK

You chose to ignore the real question though, why does Pak need an ICBM?
