China Vows 'No Mercy' In Xinjiang Crackdown

This statement is stupid. Terrorism and separatism is a social problem that needs a social solution not a military solution. If you want to see how well a military solution is working with a social approach take a look at Iraq + Afghanistan.

But they throw in religion to justify!

Of all countries, China's way of handling terrorist works best.

No mercy for this terrorist b@sTard$ :guns:

India, watch and learn.

True. Countries like China and Israel know how to deal with these fcukers! They have balls of steel.

Indian leadership is full of Congressi eunuchs and impotents.

I would call Israel's strategy against terror a failure, but then again they aren't really interested in stopping terror. Terrorism to Israel's Zionists is an acceptable cost of the continuing annexation of Arab land.

And China's strategy in Uighur lands?

I think it is fine, given China's policy.

The ideal way to clamp down on people pursuing violence as a tool against common people is to show "no mercy". I am with China on that. However, to profess separatism through peaceful protests should be allowed everywhere - even in India. Asian countries have such a narrow world view.

Israel is a very extreme example - no country faces the kind of pressure Israel does merely to exist.

Exactly how their policy is a failure,if their policy was a failure, today the free Israel would not have existed,or is that just because they belong to the opposite camp, anyway I am pretty much impressed by the policies you people employ in Uighur lands or the Tibetan plains, good or bad,it do the job,but no way I am looking towards the Indian govt to apply it in the Kashmir valley. As contradictory to one Chinese said here"learn from us"there is hardly anything here to learn from you.

The how come Israel is still facing terrorism...Look buddy their handling of terrorist may look attractive but it doesn't mean it is successful.....Having said that whatever we are doing is not bringing in results...The right path is perhaps somewhere in the middle

Its been 6 decades and they are still feeling the heat...fighting is on...so whatever they are doing is also not bringing in peace..In short the policy is a failure....Having said that - is there a better way...perhaps, perhaps not...

I wonder if foreign elements like the CIA has interest in stirring up unrest in Xinjiang?

I'm sure plenty of outside elements have an interest in seeing instability in Xinjiang.

However, that doesn't really matter.

It's our own responsibility, to handle our own internal problems. Our weaknesses can only be exploited by outsiders if we allow them to be.

If we improve our internal strength, then outsiders won't have the opportunity to cause problems in the first place.
