China urges India to withdraw from fresh occupation by India

I warned earlier, that any mention of these pics that belong to soldiers died in 1962 will result in infraction, so you are going to get one.

Don't spread your media's stupid claims here.. Your media is very famous for these kind of stories. It even read out names of soldiers died in Galwan clash that were proved to be false the same day.

Yes this recent fighting is definitely planned and executed by Indian side due to PLA position on LAC. Maybe they are trying to capture another territory to bargain with? That was option before given by some Indian commenters. It may be what Indian military is doing now actually.
Exactly. A lot of it is undemarcated. At the end the top political leadership will have to talk and go back to original positions prior to May/June 2020. Else either side can do an incursion.

PDF doesn't want to spread misinformation. That's it.

Ukrain's OSINT, Serbia's OSINT, random Indian sources on twitter are what make you guys look bad, really.

Your comment was sensible and I also believe that India transgressed into Chinese perception of the LAC.

China is also confirming the same.. Your story is in line with the claims.. although I don't know about whether the heights have been captured by India... Maybe satellite imagery will confirm something in the coming days.

The question is what is Chinese perception of LAC is? We had 23 border meetings with the Chinese and not once have they shared what's their claim line in Ladakh is! That is the suspicion that they want to steal more territory cos tomorrow they can conjure some map and claim Leh too. They playing victim card in this whole game is the irony of it.

If no deaths and no injuries, then there is a very good possibility that Indian Army found an opportunity to cross LAC where Chinese presence is non-existent, or very thin.

You capturing Chinese land without them putting up a fight and ended up in casualties is just unbelieveable.

I told it's a localized conflict and where IA troops already had upper hand. I cannot 100% confirm that it happened but can guarantee with some assurance some stones got thrown and some handheld fights within a small subsector in that major sector.
I guess it may have been a scout party.

Moreover it's not Chinese land. We are just going to stay put in a parcel of land where we didnt have any infra before.

Exactly. A lot of it is undemarcated. At the end the top political leadership will have to talk and go back to original positions prior to May/June 2020. Else either side can do an incursion.

This will be very difficult because India wants to either have original pre 2020 positions or it wants to have dispute settled according to Indian definition of border which is finger 8 and tracing the line roughly same distance from finger 4 going east.

China wants the current border and LAC definition to stay which is finger 4 and tracing north and south from it where the current issue is. This is however not full claim from China's side. CCP claim to finger 2 I believe and the 2km or so buffer at the moment is to ease tension. So CCP either wants matter to stay this way or to settle according to its definition of border.

It is unlikely China will agree to either of India's two wishes because it has not moved since May and India will not agree to China's version of border but may settle for current position. However if this attack is India's plan to capture some territory on China's LAC version side, then it proves India also will not accept either of China's conditions. This means escalation towards war or stalemate according to where each side currently sitting.

India and China accused each other on Monday of military provocation on their contested Himalayan border where a deadly showdown erupted in June — even as commanders from the two sides held talks aimed at easing tensions.
China's military said Indian troops had crossed the border on Monday near Pangong Tso, a lake at 4,200 metres, and engaged in “open provocation and caused the border situation to become tense”.
“The Chinese military is taking necessary countermeasures,” the People's Liberation Army's regional command said in a statement, accusing India of “seriously violating China's territorial sovereignty”.
Earlier on Monday, India's defence ministry said Chinese troops had “carried out provocative military movements to change the status quo” in the eastern Ladakh region over the weekend.
Military commanders from the two sides held talks on Monday in a new bid to ease tensions between the nuclear-armed neighbours, who fought a border war in 1962 and have staged regular high altitude clashes since.
China did not confirm Saturday's incident, but the foreign ministry said its troops have “always strictly respected” the unofficial border known as the Line of Actual Control.
On June 15, troops from the two sides fought hand-to-hand combat in Ladakh in which 20 Indian troops were killed. China acknowledged casualties but did not give figures.
The two sides blame each other for recent clashes and the two armies have since poured tens of thousands of troops into the region. Military and diplomatic talks are at an apparent stalemate.
Massive troop buildup
Pangong Tso is one of several hotspots where troops have massed since June.
“Indian troops pre-empted this PLA activity on the southern bank of Pangong Tso lake, undertook measures to strengthen our positions and thwart Chinese intentions to unilaterally change facts on ground,” said India's defence ministry.
Senior officers met at a border post near the scene of the standoff on Monday, it added.
According to Indian military sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, Indian troops pushed back Chinese troops who crossed the Line of Control.
“PLA soldiers walked into our area near the south bank of Pangong, but our soldiers were prepared and quickly pushed them back without any violence,” said one source.
“They tried to come in again several hours later but we stood firm. There has been no such confrontation in this area in the past.”
China's foreign ministry said Chinese troops “have always strictly respected the Line of Actual Control and never crossed the line”.
“Border troops from both sides have maintained communication over issues on the ground,” foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian told a press briefing.
Amid calls for boycotts of Chinese goods, India has stepped up economic pressure on China since the June battle and repeatedly warned that relations would suffer unless its troops pull back.
India has banned at least 49 Chinese owned-apps — including the TikTok video platform — frozen Chinese firms out of contracts and held up Chinese goods at customs posts.
China has complained about the action and warned that Indian consumers will suffer.

don't let them go unhurt , give them bloody nose .

This time India has crossed the LAC and captured some territory which China perceives its own and India wants to use this in bargain to get its territory back from China. Nobody knows at the moment how big this territory is.

The question is will PLA reacts and overthrows Indians.

:help: China to Pakistan...

Chinese think it's not Indian land. It goes both way.

This is no joke. Even Shiv Aroor claimed not so long ago that this is not funny anymore.

There is a perception of LAC among Chinese and Indian troops. The one at Pangong at example, Chinese claim till F2, India claim till F8. Now that areas btw them according to 1993 agreement, no infrastructure can be built in mutually claimed areas. Chinese broke that agreement in different sectors across the LAC. Now they occupy till F4.

In this case, on the southern bank of Pangong lake, they tried to change status quo again. We preempted that and now occupy the heights. We did not try to be the aggressor the last time or now.

There's no perceived line except in Indian propaganda.

The only agreed border line is the 1959/1960 border line by both countries.

All the 1993, 1996 and others from last decade and this decade agreements are "peace" agreements, not new border line agreements.

Only Indians have been imagining that new border agreements were signed in 1993, 1996, last decade and this decade but China never agreed to any new line. This is something that the Indian Government and the Indian military had been brainwashing Indians into believing and militarily quietly creeping onto Chinese side of the 1959/1960 agreed line.

China largly chose to ignore this but as a direct result of 5th August 2019, China is in the process of putting an end to this farce while Indian Government and Indian military is slowly but surely is withdrawing, surrendering and agreeing to the 1959/1960 status quo. Simply because India has no choice.

No indication where this is? When this is? The mountain is behind them and the mountains tops are the Chinese LAC traced from finger 4. So they are either totally on Indian side of Chinese definition of LAC or they are totally inside Chinese side about 5km. This is quite unlikely as it will definitely get huge PLA response since it is so far into Chinese claimed territory. Any points on the map you can indicate where these soldiers are?

Are they in position 1 or 2? This red line runs through finger 4. Blue is clash region holding mountain.

Is use of napalm banned for military use or only civilian use ?
How effective will it be on mountainous terrain ?
Does India have air or land launched napalm bombs ?

LOL

you do realise the chinese are painting you as the aggressor so that they can use force that will inflict massive indian casulties ?

i think sometimes indians take leave of their senses. There is really nothing here to thump your 56 inchi titties.
