China tops, India last, in list of 12 nations important to US: Poll

glad u understand where is india world standing, but sadly most indians dont, they think they talk as though they are a world super power to the annoyance of the world all over.

for ur ignorance i want to tell u few things............

1)In next 15-20 yrs,in this multi polar power world, there are total 6 nations considered and india is one of them.Do google and find out..
2)If u look at this list, even pakistan and afghanistan are shown ahead of india(although i didnt see list clearly.so are they super power?
3)Regarding to indo-u.s relations,we are already making an distant level relationsip with u.s which means not too close not to far.just give n take..
so god has made google and try to make a use of it rather than posting ignorance

no actually u misunderstood me,I am not talking on basis of power equation, just like N.korea and Iran due to their long standing disputes.

Iraq and Afghan due to the presence of collision forces and its impact on US.

Pakistan due to its location, and as an ally of US,and also a crisis hit zone.

China due to significance in trade and now the next biggest ideological enemy after USSR/Russia.

Dont know were India fit.

More clearly, just like japan,South Korea or Brazil is not in the list,u got it now.

my first point was predicted 10 yrs ago,i m not telling u bla bla as u thought.
and plz google out the top militaries in world,u may find some thing.
and china is low profile enough thats y u.s is taking tension abt low profile china..

btw i dont care where china goes,i am concerned just abt our own military...
and plz read my signature and this is going on presently

This kind of high profile isn't good for us, it would stir up into a new military racing which we are not fully ready yet.

In the next 10-15 years, the World gonna become bipolarized, only China and US. The rest just pick your side. I think most of developing nations would side with us, because they were getting sick of the Yankee Imperialism for a long time.

The bipolar word ended the day the cold race ended, never again u can witness a bipolar world for long period,US will lose its current significance in the coming decades, not only China many more nation's will rise as a powerful bloc inside Asia, Africa and S.Am.

Even as u mention as a condition of bipoar world,I dont think even most of the powerful bloc of asia will be aligning in favour of ur side, the current world order is itself an example.

I dont know why indians are getting so defensive about the average Americans indifferent toward India. this has always been the case.
where as in Indians are very in tune to what goes on in America.

american only care about money and sports, both of which the chinese are intruding upon. when they read their morning news, go to walmart, and check their 401k/invesments...china is the 900lb gorilla in the room
when they go to the olympics(the only other sports they care outside of baseball and football), china is their number 1 rival.

Excuse me, US won't give up its status so easily. The only nation can afford to have a military racing with them is China.

This is not our choice, but the current political landscape has evolved into bipolar.

well the rivalry style of ussr/usa has gone,
i already mentioned multi polar world....
u can say economically that china/usa will be there but militarily, there will be multiple power blocks.

for ex-usa cant handle egypt properly, wat u an expect from the super power and same applies to u

Yep ..
So USA is trying hard to be an ally with India .
Japan is alrdy there

Ya agreed with u completely,I am even amused why India is in the list, especially when U.K,Germany and Japan are missing,i had already mentioned it above.

And by the way I enjoyed ur example of 900lb gorilla, that was really funny.

US giving out its status quo is not the factor here,ur assessment of a cold war type showdown is never gona happen,if even u consider so,the Chinese block will be heavily outnumbered by the American camp, and mind it american camp means powerful influential and rich nation's(arabs,Europe, and almost half of asia)not some 3rd rate countries, which was never the essence of a USA/USSR showdown which was evenly matched.

Like Japan, India isn't suitable to become military Superpower either. The most important thing for you guys is to improve the living standard and infrastructure. Forget about building the largest naval force in Asia, forging the space superpower, etc.
