Let me make this clear China is not afraid of the Agni III MRBM as they have far more proven ICBM and SLBMs with far larger yields along with MIRVs.They have had them for decades.

I would trust the report more than mere speculation. Even if it is old we still have an idea about India's arsenal only ten years ago. Its doubtful it has increased many fold. Having the reactors producing plutonium does not mean they are being all turned into nukes. Many countries including China operate far more reactors and produces far more plutonium. Should I also speculate all of them are being made into thermonuclear devices?

58 kilotons is not enough for a confirmation of a fission device. Other tests by countries were only confirmed when they had detonations in the megatons.

China: 3.31 megatons

Jin class SSBN already had pictures taken of it with its SLBM tubes opened along with pictures of the SLBM being launched. Satellite confirmation as well. What exactly do you need to prove that it exists as well as functions, a freaking tour of it?
