China does not need to fight USA, Japan and India at the same time. First we'll attack New Delhi with air power and missiles, and then when northern Indian Hindi-speaking states are devastated, the whole country will just fall apart. Then China can turn around and deal with USA and Japan.

This is history repeating itself! In 1979 Vietnam tried to fight China by allying itself with the Soviet Union. Vietnam thought China was too preoccupied with Soviet Union so it acted aggressively. Instead, China took a defensive posture against Soviet Union and waged war on Vietnam. Lots of Vietnamese civilians were hurt in the war. The same thing will happen to northern India! Just like what happened to Vietnamese villages close to Chinese border.

In fact, India's situation vis-a-vis China right now is exactly like Vietnam back in 1979! The same solution is here. First, take defensive posture against USA and its Pacific Allies. Then take on New Delhi in a massive frontal air power war. India might be just as weak now as Vietnam was back in 1979. So China's overwhelming military power with modern PLA will break Indian military very quickly.

Obviously, the Sino-Vietnam war was ground warfare. But the Indo-Chinese War will be mainly air power, mountain troops and artillery.

Let me make this clear China is not afraid of the Agni III MRBM as they have far more proven ICBM and SLBMs with far larger yields along with MIRVs.They have had them for decades.

I would trust the report more than mere speculation. Even if it is old we still have an idea about India's arsenal only ten years ago. Its doubtful it has increased many fold. Having the reactors producing plutonium does not mean they are being all turned into nukes. Many countries including China operate far more reactors and produces far more plutonium.
