Nowhere did I disparaged the PLA's parade ground skills. Check my posts again. Us Air Force guys are never known for our skills at the parade ground to start but I can definitely appreciate the US Army or the US Marines when they strut their stuff. So yes, I can definitely appreciate the considerable skills and the time spent by PLA troops honing their parade ground flash. Just wondering where the dash are...

The Dashes are they have made sure that no terrorist rome free in their land. Making sure no bombs go off in a busy market.
A good king is one who does not seek war, but is always prepared for it.
Chinese and Indian Army are good at not engaging in a war with others in modern times.
But are always prepared to take one when challenged.

For example, If you are a student in a class and some other student outperforms you. will you congratulate him or envy him for his achievements.
If you are a man of values, I hope you'll respect him the same way you respect your self.
I'ts not about bowing to a leader but respecting him and giving him a hand of aplause for what he has done.

not if he/she sabotages other people, or connive to steal and cheat to win. (something I've personally witnessed among chinese students)

a parade shows a good organization and the equipment. of course you don't know the level of formation.
at least we see this is not south america or africa army kind of

anyway i have some military french friends here (a city with a lot of army regiments (parachutiste, legionnaire))
all of them who worked with US troops ... all agree that the most soldiers of USA are uneducated and the formation is not smart
completely opposite to your officiers with your excellency formation
here they make a real selction in army: they don't go to school to take the stupid guys

as you can expect: french don't know chinese army and iranians like me don't know american army...

I realy feel bad, when we Indians talk as if we are the epitom of honesty.
I have seen our students do taking the cruked path to get what they want.
Its not that is belonging to the Chinese, every where in the world when people are forced to achieve, they tend to take the wrong path. Here in INdia we are forced to study and get good jobs and our students do go the wrong way in the process.
All I am saying is that, when you want a loyal future, try to appriciate others for the good deeds and do not talk about the wrong ones, Over a time, people will long for that appriciation and start doing the right thing and all the good traits of human being will surface.
