All types of the ICBMs will test at least once per year, so does the ASAT/GMD test.

So for a potential war between the two Titans in the future, Day 1 will be a competition for shooting down as many satellites as possible; Day 2 will be another competition for launching as many as new satellites as possible. Looks like a Star War!

It could very well be it bro! Imagine this:

Day 1: it's like space version of 19th century "sea superiority" or 20th century "air superiority". Earth-to-space direct ascent ASAT, as well as co-orbital ASAT (see blow link), are the main actors here.

Day 2: it's like space version of "sea/air-land warfare", other than supporting ISR and navigation for earth-based weapons, space-to-earth weapons might play a role.

US wants to spread propaganda that China does ASAT (attacking move) instead of GMD (defensive move) to deter China from doing further tests.

China won't give a damn about US propaganda and will continue to do more tests.
