China's fear is that US could open up a naval war front against China in the South China Sea or East China Sea, and launch an attack against North Korea too. At the very least, the US could strangle Chinese oil and gas shipping through Malacca Straits.

Our present situation is we need to wait a few more years for crucial weapons systems to enter service before we roll back India. If we can project power through military bases in Pakistan or Myanmar, even better. But the clock is ticking. Eventually this whole thing is going to blow.

Our hate against Chinese is much lower than our elder generation. We are hating Chinese since the times Americans were conspiring against India during cold war era, so American influence is total bullshit.
