It is absurd to equate the action of a handful individuals with state policy. The extreme elements haboring Etam terrorists along Afghan-Pakistan border are enemies of Pakistan as well. China and Pakistan do not need others to connect the dots for us. Above all India is least qualified to make the call.

China and Pakistan friendship is based upon past experience when both nations needed each other.I would say that Pakistan rely more on china but its has proved in friendship in the past.

Well I think it is a mutual help situation. China may look strong now but during the Cold War age, Pakistan was China's window on the world. China didn't have much to offer to Pakistan (strategically, financially and militarily) other than friendship and workers to build road in Pakistan. As a lot of people have said, the friendship has last for 60 years, while the world has changed so much since.

A lot of people claimed that China uses Pakistan as the proxy to counter India. These people clearly have no clues on how the relationship between Pakistan and China evolved especially in the Cold War ages.

Chinese have a very different perspective on life and acts of violence----. They seek revenge in a different manner that india cannot learn at this stage.

See---if mumbai type attack had happened in china and culprits would have finger pointed at pakistan---china would have gone on to strengthen their relationship with pakistan more----that way they could take charge of the situation---had more control over dealing with the govt and pakistani public---and taken the terrorists out---instead of starting an insurgency in response----which serves no purpose except to spread more hate.

China understands that in real life sh-it happens---when the americans bombed chinese embassy---what was it sarajevo---they didnot raise a hue and cry over it---.

The reason why india does it---because amongst the league of nation---india is only 60 plus years old nation---it still does not know and understand its true and real place in the world----.

The bottomline is that china needs to cover its flanks---with india openly declaring that its high tech weapons purchase is directed towards china and not pakistan----china and pakistan are going to stay as partners for a while.

Relations are based on trust , mutual understanding and respect. As far as of today China and Pakistan both trust each other. Both have mutual understanding on different issues.If not they discuss and get to the solution.
Respect ....... Both Govt and the people of both country respect each other.
