China mocks India's democratic system

It seems that China has improved the outlookon India. Till sometime ago, they used to tell that 40% of world's poor live in India. Now they have reduced the figure to half. However actual figure is 99 million and that to by 1.25 USD in PPP. Not like chinese criterion of 0.24 USD in PPP. CHina is approaching the correct figure very fast. Good development.

This is an effort to subvert the chinese people's mind who are now increasingly feeling the flimsiness and failure of communism in china.

The day when the oppressed Indians become aware of the dire conditions the majority lives, then the regime's hold on the people will weaken and the elitist-oppressive government will face serious problems.

"Worldwide, approximately one billion people live on less than US$1 a day. About 2.6 billion
live on less than US$2 a day. This amounts to 40% of the world’s population. South Asia is the
region with the greatest concentration of extreme poverty. In India, the world’s second most
populous nation, 34% live on less than US$1 a day and 80% live on less than US$2 a day.
In Sub-Saharan Africa, 41% of the population lives on less than US$1 a day."

China is the last strong hold of communism....And it is struggling to keep an hold on it...

Now that Chinese people have lot of information about outside world they know that Communist Party is treating them like a slave....So what Communist Party is doing is mocking the biggest democracy in the World...Where every person who rules is being elected by the people who wanted them to be ruled....
These are the opening words of the preamble to the Indian Constitution

“ WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens:
JUSTICE, social, economic and political;

LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;

EQUALITY of status and of opportunity;

and to promote among them all

FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation;

IN OUR CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY this twenty-sixth day of November, 1949, do HEREBY ADOPT, ENACT AND GIVE TO OURSELVES THIS CONSTITUTION.

Why are chinese dancing up and down here, CCP is afraid of democracy and is struggling to keep it power with the increase of globalization?

Indian Democracy can answer most of our problems that includes economic growth.

If economic growth is the criteria for a regime, wait for a decade, CCP dismantle itself after seeing India's economic growth.

Not one large European country industrialized and had its biggest development period was a democracy. Not one!

Sadly I have to agree with you but Democracy is the best system for our nation no otter system will work

I am willing to teach you in politics.

since the glorious revolution of 1689, England (later UK) has been ruled by a parliament. no longer the King, but the parliament, or more precise the government headed by a prime minister has the executive power. have you ever heard of the bill of rights?

The word democracy didn't come up until the French Revolution. What happened in the UK was a power struggle between the feudal class with the landed bourgeoisie and didn't affect the majority of the society. So, it's just laughable to even call it democratic. In fact, the word democracy didn't become popular until WW1 when practically all major countries in Europe were already industrialised.

You can't be half democratic as you can't be half virgin.

I wonder if every CPC official checks under his bed for democracy before going to sleep :D
